What you'll do
- Welcome and assist guests during overnight hours with professional and personalized service
- Manage late arrivals, departures, reservations, billing inquiries, and payment processing accurately
- Perform daily night audit procedures verifying and balancing guest accounts and financial transactions
- Prepare, reconcile and distribute daily financial, operational, and management reports
- Record all charges, postings, and transactions accurately in the property management system
- Monitor room status, availability, and reservations, resolving discrepancies when needed
- Act as primary point of contact for guests during the night, promptly responding to requests, inquiries, and complaints
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security to address operational issues and ensure guest safety
- Conduct routine checks of public areas and facilities to ensure compliance with operational and security standards
- Prepare shift handover and communicate relevant information to Front Office team and managers
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Customer service and hospitality knowledge in a luxury hotel setting
- Communication skills in Greek and English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Property management systems experience, preferably Opera PMS
- Attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving skills
- Billing and payment processing and financial audit procedures
- Flexibility for night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Coordination with operational teams and shift handover communication
- Guest complaint handling
- Hospitality Managementpreferred

About the job
As a Front Office Agent – Night Shift, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience during overnight hours while supporting the smooth operation of the Front Office department. Acting as the main point of contact throughout the night, you will assist guests with arrivals, departures, requests, and inquiries, while maintaining accurate records and supporting daily operational and administrative procedures. Your professionalism, reliability, and commitment to exceptional service will contribute to a safe, welcoming, and memorable guest experience at all times.
Responsibilities
Welcome and assist guests during overnight hours, ensuring professional, efficient, and personalized service experience.
Manage late arrivals, departures, reservations, billing inquiries, and payment processing accurately and efficiently.
Perform daily night audit procedures, verifying and balancing all guest accounts, revenues, payments, and financial transactions in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
Prepare, reconcile, and distribute daily financial, operational, and management reports.
Ensure all charges, postings, and transactions are accurately recorded in the property management system.
Monitor room status, room availability, and reservation accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies when required.
Act as the primary point of contact for guests during overnight hours, responding promptly to requests, inquiries, and complaints while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address operational issues and ensure guest safety and comfort throughout the night.
Conduct routine checks of public areas and hotel facilities, ensuring compliance with operational and security standards.
Prepare a comprehensive shift handover and communicate all relevant information to the Front Office team and department managers.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field will be considered an asset.
Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
Excellent communication skills in Greek and English; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with hotel property management systems, preferably Opera PMS, will be considered an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
