What you'll do
- Design, configure, and implement SAP-centric integrations and interface patterns
- Design and implement SAP data exposure with CDS views for integration scenarios
- Ensure CDS views reflect correct business logic, data models, and performance needs
- Configure and support SAP integration mechanisms, including IDocs/ALE, RFC, SOAP, OData, DRF, ASAPIO, and ABAP interfaces
- Guide middleware engineers on correct SAP behavior and constraints
- Troubleshoot SAP integration issues and drive documented root-cause fixes
- Align integration designs across SAP, middleware, and consuming systems
- Define and support monitoring and logging for SAP interfaces
- Contribute to interface validation, error-handling validation, and transport coordination
- Meet agreed SLAs while optimizing performance, availability, and incident resolution
- Monitor and continuously improve production systems using operational insights and root cause analysis
Key requirements
- 4+ years' experience
- SAP integration: SAP integration mechanisms, SAP S/4HANA or ECC, SAP business processes
- SAP development and modelling: ABAP, SAP CDS views, SAP data modelling
- Interface delivery: Interface design, Integration testing
- Operations and support: Integration troubleshooting and debugging, SAP interface monitoring and logging
- Technical practices: Technical documentation, Performance optimization, Root cause analysis
- Service management: Service-level management
- Computer Science / Any Field
