What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views
- Collaborate with Java and Spring Boot teams to integrate PL/SQL logic into backend services
- Optimize SQL queries and database structures for performance and scalability
- Support data migration activities, ETL processes, and system integrations
- Participate in database design, schema reviews, and code quality checks
- Investigate and resolve performance issues, production incidents, and database bottlenecks
- Maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation
- Improve development standards, code quality, and automation practices
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Oracle PL/SQL development
- SQL tuning and query optimization; Oracle database performance
- Oracle TOAD and Oracle SQL Developer
- Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JDBC, and Hibernate/JPA
- Data modelling, relational database design, and database normalization
- ETL processes and Agile methodologies
