What you'll do
- Lead warehouse operations, maintenance and improvement activities.
- Coordinate a core team of 8 employees and temporary workers during peak seasons.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, OTC, Accounting, commercial teams and outsourced service providers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health and safety instructions and ADR procedures.
- Oversee on-time stock integration, order preparation and follow-up of shortages and discrepancies.
- Monitor warehouse performance, claims and departmental targets.
- Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity and OTIF performance.
- Maintain high stock accuracy and investigate inventory discrepancies between JDE and WMS.
- Prepare teams and operations for seasonal demand peaks.
- Maintain warehouse tidiness, infrastructure, forklifts and equipment.
- Optimize picking paths and improve picking and order preparation processes.
- Organize and participate in mid-year and year-end stock takes.
- Communicate regularly with team members, evaluate performance and provide continuous training.
