As Production Shift Supervisor, you will be a member of the Production team, ensuring the smooth operation of Production Department, to best meet production needs within the predefined time and quality requirements.
Main Responsibilities/Tasks:
Acts in the most effective, efficient, and safest manner and according to the principles of BIC to:
Ensure department’s continuous production and capacity during the shift
Contribute to quality assurance projects/ processes/ instructions by performing all duties/ actions indicated in them
Ensure compliance with company’s safety and environmental policy and procedures
Contribute to the introduction of new products/materials in the production area
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Ensure and per case deliver employee training on all job-related activities covering Safety, Quality, Machine/Product specific, One-point lessons (OPLs)
Report daily to BU management on the shift’s performance and provide weekly feedback on the KPIs
Collaborate with other department's supervisors and manage his/her team members (holidays, absenteeism, replacement etc.)
To check compliance with health, safety and environmental rules at work by team members under their supervision, in accordance with company ‘s policy and prescribed procedures
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree from Technical University (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
2 – 3 years of working experience in a similar position is required in manufacturing or industrial setting
Ability to work in 3 shifts
