What you'll do
- Provide legal advice on litigation, dispute resolution, and contentious legal matters
- Manage civil, commercial, administrative, and regulatory disputes from pre-litigation through resolution
- Coordinate and liaise with external law firms, monitor litigation strategy and budgets
- Draft, review, and prepare legal pleadings, notices, settlement agreements, and litigation documents
- Advise management on legal risks, dispute prevention, and potential liabilities
- Represent the company before public authorities and regulatory bodies
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on legislation and regulatory developments
- Support negotiation and resolution of disputes via mediation, arbitration, and settlements
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and talent agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure legal compliance and provide business-oriented legal solutions

About the job
The Legal Counsel is responsible for providing legal advice and support on litigation, dispute resolution, and contentious legal matters across the organization. The role involves managing legal disputes, coordinating with external counsel, mitigating legal risks, and representing the company's interests in judicial and administrative proceedings. The Legal Counsel will also provide legal support on commercial and corporate matters to ensure the organization's activities remain compliant with applicable laws and aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and guidance on litigation, dispute resolution, and contentious legal matters affecting the organization.
Manage civil, commercial, administrative, and regulatory disputes from pre-litigation through resolution.
Coordinate and liaise with external law firms, monitor litigation strategy, budgets, and case progress.
Draft, review, and prepare legal pleadings, legal notices, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related documentation.
Advise management on legal risks, dispute prevention strategies, and potential liabilities.
Represent the company before public authorities, regulatory bodies, and administrative agencies where appropriate.
Conduct legal research and remain up to date with relevant legislation, case law, and regulatory developments.
Support the negotiation and resolution of disputes through mediation, arbitration, and settlement discussions.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements to minimize legal exposure and protect the company's interests.
Draft and review content, talent, and commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and protecting the Group's intellectual and industrial property rights.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.
Requirements
Law Degree (Greece); an LL.M. is considered an advantage.
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience with a focus on litigation and dispute resolution.
Strong knowledge of Greek civil, commercial, and procedural law.
Experience managing external counsel and overseeing litigation matters.
Experience in commercial contracts and corporate legal advisory is considered an advantage.
Knowledge of intellectual property and media-related legal matters is considered a plus.
Knowledge of leasehold/property rental matters is considered a plus.
DPO training or knowledge of data protection legislation is considered a plus.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure.
