About the job
The Legal Department of Worldline in Greece is seeking an In-House Lawyer specialized in commercial contracts. This role involves collaborating closely with various teams within the organization and engaging with the organization’s stakeholders to provide legal support on commercial and corporate matters.
Day-to-day responsibilities
Report directly to the Head of Legal Greece.
Analyze legal needs related to commercial contract (payment services contraction, POS contract, gateway and acquiring contract) in close collaboration with business units and project teams.
Negotiate contracts (esp. licenses, and service agreements).
Ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures across the local affiliates.
Conduct legal research and drafting of information notes for Greek management.
Experience in corporate governance matters.
Monitor and stay updated on regulations impacting Worldline's operations across our Merchant Services business lines.

Legal Degree and an active license to practice law in Greece
3 years of successful experience in law firms or in-house legal departments, preferably in an international environment, with a focus on IT or banking sectors.
Proven experience with complex IT partnerships or PSP contracts, including public procurement processes.
Strong expertise in Corporate and Commercial law and procedures areas
Intellectual Property
Payment and Banking regulations
Excellent command of legal and business English, both written and oral.
Detail-oriented, operationally-minded, and capable of working autonomously with strong organizational skills.
Excellent writing and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Strong aptitude to build relationships with lawyers in France and other countries (Europe, LATAM, Asia) as well as with various functions of the Group (Finance, Operations, CSR, etc.).
Practical mindset with the ability to adapt and seek pragmatic, effective solutions.
Familiarity with project management methodologies.
