What you'll do
- Lead a team of Java Software Engineers fostering collaboration and high performance
- Provide input on project timelines, priorities, and resources to ensure on-time delivery
- Allocate assignments for development, modification, or upgrade of software applications
- Develop and mentor team members to reach their potential
- Coordinate team collaboration to promote creative thinking and enhance software capabilities
- Develop and refactor applications following coding guidelines and security standards
- Follow best practices and deliver clean, testable code using Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Document all software development interventions to manage the software lifecycle
Key requirements
- 6+ years' experience
- Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Java EE/Jakarta EE
- Software Development Team Leadership and Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- REST APIs, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and clean coding practices
- CI/CD Pipelines and Version Control (Git)
- Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB)
- Linux, Azure Cloud Platform, and Docker
- Computer Science
