What you'll do
- Manage day-to-day quarry operations including excavation, drilling, blasting, extraction, and internal transportation
- Develop and implement production plans, extraction methods, operational schedules, and resource allocation
- Monitor and manage stocks of raw materials, consumables, and equipment
- Assess quality and characteristics of extracted material and coordinate with Sales and Commercial team
- Monitor operational performance and identify productivity and cost improvement opportunities
- Contribute to evaluation and optimization of extraction activities based on geological and qualitative data
- Prepare regular operational and performance reports
- Ensure compliance with HSE and environmental requirements
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Mining Engineering and Extraction Methods
- Production Planning and Resource Allocation
- Quality Monitoring and Operational Performance Monitoring
- HSE Compliance and Blasting
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency especially Excel
- English Language Proficiency
- Marble or Dimension Stone Quarrying experience as an asset
- Analytical, Communication, and Interpersonal Skills
- Mining Engineering
