What you'll do
- Supervise and manage daily quarry operations including excavation, drilling and blasting, and internal haulage
- Develop and implement operational plans including production schedules and resource allocation
- Monitor and manage inventories of raw materials, consumables, and critical spare parts
- Oversee maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Collaborate with Sales and Commercial team to align production output with market demand and customer requirements
- Monitor operational performance, identify opportunities to improve productivity and cost efficiency, prepare regular performance reports
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Mine planning software, geological software, surveying software
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Excavation, drilling and blasting expertise
- Inventory management, maintenance and repair skills
- Production scheduling capabilities
