What you'll do
- Manage and supervise daily quarry operations including excavation, drilling, blasting, and internal haulage
- Develop and implement operational plans such as production schedules and resource allocation
- Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, and equipment to maintain optimal stock levels
- Oversee maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Collaborate with sales and commercial team to align production output with market demand and customer requirements
- Monitor and optimize operational processes to improve productivity and prepare regular performance reports
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

We are looking for a highly skilled Mining Engineer to join our team in Thessalia.
Duties and responsibilities:
Manage and supervise daily quarry operations, including excavation, drilling and blasting activities, and internal haulage
Develop and implement operational plans, including production schedules and resource allocation
Manage inventory of raw materials, consumables, and equipment to maintain optimal stock levels
Oversee maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Collaborate with sales and commercial team to align production output with market demand and customer requirements
Monitor and optimize operational processes to improve productivity and prepare regular performance reports for management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mining or Mineral Resources Engineering
At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role in quarry
Proficient in using geological and surveying software
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Proficiency in English, both written and oral
Holder of a valid Category B driving license
Blaster’s License will be considered as an asset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
