What you'll do
- Maintain accurate accounting records according to Greek Accounting Standards and IFRS
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Prepare statutory financial statements and management reports
- Support accounting treatment for concession and PPP projects
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger, fixed assets, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions
- Perform MyDATA reconciliation ensuring correct classification and timely invoice submission
- Assist in preparing financial information for lenders, stakeholders, and authorities
- Support external and regulatory audits with documentation and explanations
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
- Contribute to improving internal controls, reporting procedures, and accounting processes
- Ensure compliance with Greek tax legislation including VAT and other obligations
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Expertise in Greek Accounting Standards, IFRS reporting standards, and Greek tax legislation
- Experience with MyDATA reconciliation and Bank account reconciliation
- Proficient in General ledger reconciliation and Fixed assets accounting
- Knowledge of Accounting for concession and PPP projects
- Skilled in Budgeting, forecasting, and Cash flow monitoring
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong Communication skills in English and Greek
- High Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
- Accounting / Finance / Economics
