What you'll do
- Review mechanical designs, plans, method statements, inspection plans, materials, and construction procedures
- Verify construction work against approved designs and project requirements
- Witness site tests, review inspection requests, and assess material receipt reports
- Conduct site inspections and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control for mechanical construction and commissioning
- Prepare and review Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
- Resolve construction and commissioning issues, conflicts, and discrepancies
- Monitor mechanical construction, testing, commissioning, and schedule risks
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Evaluate site progress, payments, change orders, and contractor claims
- Certify EPC contractor invoices for site mechanical works
- Monitor regulatory and design code compliance
- Review approved documents, commissioning manuals, O&M manuals, and as-built documentation
- Coordinate communication among contractors, engineering teams, and site management
- Oversee mechanical project closeout, inspections, punch lists, documentation, and handover
