What you'll do
- Support coordination, review, and technical development of all MEP systems for proper integration within project design
- Review MEP layouts, technical drawings, calculations, reports, and consultant submissions to ensure alignment with project requirements and standards
- Coordinate MEP integration with Architecture, Interior Design, Structural, Civil, Landscape, Lighting, Kitchen, AV, IT, Security, and other specialist disciplines
- Identify technical conflicts, coordination gaps, and design inconsistencies and support timely resolution with consultants and project teams
- Ensure MEP solutions align with guest experience, operational functionality, spatial quality, and brand standards
- Coordinate with external MEP consultants, engineers, architects, and specialist designers during design reviews, technical workshops, and coordination meetings
- Monitor technical submissions and consultant deliverables for quality, coordination, compliance, and project schedule adherence
- Support value engineering and technical optimization by reviewing alternative solutions to maintain design integrity and operational performance
- Provide technical support during tender and construction phases including shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups, inspections, and site coordination
- Assist in maintaining organization of technical documentation, coordination records, and project information
- Support continuous improvement of MEP coordination procedures
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- MEP coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Services Engineering knowledge
- Multidisciplinary coordination and technical integration skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical document review
- Familiarity with BIM/Revit coordination environments
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Understanding of hospitality operational and guest experience requirements
- Site coordination and design review capabilities
- Value engineering and technical coordination
- Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering
