About the job

ACS Athens is seeking an Ed Tech Teacher Coach / Data Analyst to support faculty and the broader school community in the effective use of PowerSchool (SIS) and Schoology (LMS) following their implementation. This role will provide coaching, training, and ongoing system support while also supporting academic leadership through data reporting and analysis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening instructional technology practices, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting schoolwide consistency in teaching, assessment, and communication.

 

Key Responsibilities

Teacher Coaching & Professional Learning

  • Coach and support teachers in the effective use of PowerSchool and Schoology for instruction, grading, assessment, and communication.

  • Design and deliver individual and group training sessions across divisions.

  • Develop clear resources (guides, tutorials, templates, FAQs) to support consistent platform use.

  • Collaborate with academic leaders to identify faculty development needs and promote best practices in digital learning.

System Support & Platform Optimization

  • Partner with the Technology Office to support platform functionality and continuous improvement.

  • Troubleshoot common issues and support workflow efficiency for teachers.

  • Support consistency and accuracy of gradebooks, assignments, attendance, and reporting.

  • Collect feedback and recommend improvements to academic and technology leadership.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 3–5 years of teaching experience in a technology-rich environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of PowerSchool and/or Schoology (or comparable SIS/LMS systems).

  • Demonstrated ability to train and support adults through coaching and professional development.

Preferred

  • Experience in instructional coaching, educational technology leadership, or faculty training.

  • Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and academic performance metrics.

  • Experience managing digital tools or schoolwide subscriptions.
