Job title: Lead QA/QC Engineer site supervision team.Job DescriptionAFRY is seeking a qualified and experienced&nbsp;Lead Quality Engineer to join the Owner's Engineer site supervision team.The QA/QC Engineer in an Owner's Engineer assignment is instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of the site construction, testing and commissioning works of a power plant project. Her/his expertise, attention to detail, and proactive approach are crucial in delivering a high-quality, safe, and compliant facility.Responsibilities/Duties (inclusive of but not limited to):<ul><li>Review and evaluate the applicable codes, standards and specifications based on projects requirement.</li><li>Participate in Management Review Meeting. Prepare minutes of meetings.</li><li>Review, and monitoring of the Project Quality Plan implementation and its compliance with the specific project requirements, technical specifications, and the applicable codes and standards. Document review sheets shall be prepared for each the site related QA&amp;QC documents.</li><li>Review all site material inspection acceptance and non-conformance reports (NCR).</li><li>Handling NCR, surveillance issues and keeping track records.</li><li>Monitoring RFI (Request for Inspections) status and support Site Manager in daily coordination</li><li>Review, approval, and monitoring of the implementation of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).</li><li>Review and approval for field QC documents like Request For Inspection, Field Inspection &amp; Testing Report Forms etc.</li><li>Review and approval for WPS, PQR.</li><li>Review and approval of NDT, PWHT, Hydro test procedures.</li><li>Review &amp; approval of material and equipment storage and preservation procedure.</li><li>Review of QA/QC involvement in the Method Statement and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).</li><li>Review of and keep up to date Punch list status.</li><li>Review of Calibration Certificates.</li><li>Review of ECC / CCC and Turn Over Packages and regularly monitor status / completion.</li><li>Witness of WQT</li><li>Organizing QA/QC Training program.</li><li>Planning, organizing &amp; leading the periodical AUDIT (as per ISO 9001: 2008).</li><li>Attend daily, weekly and monthly meeting.</li><li>Establish direct communication with Contractor’s QM</li><li>Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards, ensure that the project complies with all applicable laws and regulations.</li></ul>Oversee the QA/QC aspects of project closeout, ensuring that all documentation, punch list items, as-built documents and final inspections are completed satisfactorily. Facilitate the smooth handover of the project to the ownerQualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.</li><li>Proven experience as QA/QC engineer in large-scale construction projects, preferably in the energy or power industry.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of local, and international design codes and standards.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership abilities.</li><li>Relevant certifications are a plus.</li><li>Certified qualification as NDT inspector and / or painting/coating applications is a plus.</li></ul>Additional Information<ul><li>Competitive salary and benefits package.</li><li>Opportunity to work on a high-profile energy infrastructure project.</li><li>Career advancement potential within a dynamic and growing organization.</li></ul>At AFRY, we engineer change in everything we do.
