We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Engineering Department at the Xanthi Factory. In this key role, you will lead and deliver complex engineering projects within a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring full alignment with JTI standards, safety regulations, and strategic business objectives. Join our team and help us drive the future of our engineering processes!&nbsp;Position:&nbsp;As a Senior Project Engineer in the Engineering Department, you will:&nbsp;<ul><li>Lead end-to-end project management activities, from concept development to commissioning and handover.</li><li>Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external contractors to ensure timely and successful project execution.</li><li>Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and performance analyses to stakeholders.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the optimization of manufacturing processes and technical systems.</li></ul>&nbsp;Within 6 months, you will:&nbsp;<ul><li>Gain an in‑depth understanding of factory operations, key equipment, and active engineering projects</li><li>Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, and align plans with cross‑functional stakeholders</li><li>Lead technical assessments, ensure compliance with JTI standards, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams</li><li>Deliver early project milestones, manage risks and budgets, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements:&nbsp;&nbsp;<ul><li>University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree (MSc or equivalent) in a relevant engineering field will be considered an asset.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.</li><li>Strong technical background with proven experience managing complex technical projects.</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.</li><li>Proficiency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.</li><li>Familiarity with international engineering standards and best practices is considered an asset.</li></ul>&nbsp;What to expect:&nbsp;&nbsp;Growth opportunities worldwide, continuous training, continuous development, opportunity to work with different cultures, good compensation package, social security package, experience in one of the biggest and successful tobacco company in the word.
