We are currently looking for a Planning and Design Engineer to join our team, based in Volos, Greece.&nbsp;By joining this role, you’ll play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities for large-scale defense programs, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.&nbsp;Your role will encompass:&nbsp;• Developing and monitoring detailed production plans and schedules for the execution of complex projects (e.g. PATRIOT, LEOPARD). • Utilizing ERP/MRP systems and project management tools (MS Project, Primavera) to manage workflows, resources, and priorities. • Optimizing production processes to improve efficiency and minimize delays. • Analyzing production capacity and proposing resource allocation improvements. • Managing material procurement processes, including preparation of RFQs and technical specifications. • Monitoring procurement schedules, quality control, and deliveries in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. • Ensuring compliance with military and industrial standards (MIL-STD, ISO 9001). • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical, operational, and supply chain risks. • Managing project changes and evaluating their impact on cost, timeline, and quality. • Communicating effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders. • Participating in program reviews and presenting project progress and performance. • Preparing technical and managerial reports, tracking KPIs, and maintaining project documentation. • Coordinating cross-functional teams (production, procurement, warehouse, quality, engineering) to ensure smooth project execution. • Providing technical support during critical project phases and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards. • Contributing to new project planning (bid phase), including cost, resource, and timeline estimation. • Driving continuous improvement initiatives (Lean / Six Sigma) to enhance operational performance.&nbsp;What you bring to the role: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience in production planning and project management (experience in defense projects is considered a strong asset). • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and project management tools (MS Project, Primavera). • Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation skills. • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Fluency in English (verbal and written), including technical terminology.&nbsp;Share the same Value Based Behaviors:&nbsp;• People &amp; Personal growth • Results orientation &amp; Safety excellence • Collaboration &amp; Trust • Empathy &amp; Effective communication • Flexibility &amp; Adaptability&nbsp;Your Benefits:&nbsp;• Competitive remuneration package • Ticket Restaurant Card • Group Health Insurance Plan • Preferential household electricity plan • Pension Plan&nbsp;

Planning and Design Engineer

As part of our digital transformation journey and the establishment of a new Operational Technology (OT) department, we are seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Manager. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving the integration of data, automation, and digital tools across the plant, ensuring efficiency, cybersecurity, and operational resilience. Duties &amp; Responsibilities • &nbsp; &nbsp;Lead the development and daily management of the plant’s OT department. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Oversee OT systems (automation, industrial networks, control systems, IoT devices) ensuring high reliability and security. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Implement and monitor OT and risk management frameworks. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure compliance in data handling, business processes, and regulatory requirements. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Drive the adoption and utilization of Plants of Tomorrow solutions and other digital transformation initiatives. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Support operational excellence by improving efficiency, optimizing resources, and strengthening communication across departments. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Lead and develop the OT team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and partners for OT systems. Qualifications &amp; Skills • &nbsp; &nbsp;Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Automation, or Computer Engineering (or related field). • &nbsp; &nbsp;5+ years of professional experience in industrial automation, OT/IT integration, or digital transformation (experience in manufacturing/heavy industry preferred). • &nbsp; &nbsp;Proven knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, DCS and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC UA). • &nbsp; &nbsp;Strong understanding of OT standards and risk management. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Solid experience with data management, compliance, and business processes. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Leadership skills with experience in managing teams and projects. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities. • &nbsp; &nbsp;Fluency in English (written and spoken); Greek is a plus.
