As a&nbsp;Scrap Yard Mining Engineer,&nbsp;you will report to the Scrap Yard &amp; Logistics Senior Manager, and you will be responsible for the scrapyard plan and operations as well as to ensure the efficient and effective allocation of manpower.&nbsp;Your Role&nbsp;<ul><li>Follow Health &amp; Safety and Environmental regulations in accordance with the company’s policies and standards.</li><li>Plan daily/weekly manpower needs based upon business demands and closely monitors overtime.</li><li>Assign tasks ensuring efficient allocation of labor maximizing productivity</li><li>Motivate trains and develop a productive cohesive team</li><li>Maintain the upkeep and maintenance of capital investments (i.e. building property, equipment, etc.);</li><li>Maintain an organized and logical yard operation</li><li>Manage cost and time constraints</li><li>Perform risk assessments</li><li>Provide process documentation and standard operating procedures</li></ul>&nbsp;Your Profile&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical or Material Engineering or related discipline required</li><li>2- 3 years’ experience, preferably in similar positions&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of process related standards and process engineering software packages</li><li>Basic knowledge of cost accounting principles and the ability to read and understand income statements</li><li>Knowledge and working experience of advanced operations excellence methodologies, tools (Lean 6sigma, TPM) and process simulations will be a plus</li><li>Health &amp; Safety Culture</li><li>Excellent command of English language</li><li>People Management and organizational skills</li><li>Analytical thinking with interpersonal skills</li><li>Problem solving skills</li></ul>

Focus on quality management and control is paramount. This position is regarded as a hands-on, site based, skilled construction management role.&nbsp;You can look forward to the following tasks;<ul><li>Accountable for the successful on-site execution of HV substation for solar PV EPC projects from construction planning and establishment through commissioning, energization and handover</li><li>Formal construction management in accordance with company procedures &amp; processes, legislation, standards and industry best practice; including technical, cost, schedule, quality, and stakeholder aspects &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Substation Construction Manager will report to the Construction Site manager</li><li>Responsible for management and reporting on construction and commissioning progress (schedule, costs, risk, quality, SHE, compliance etc.) &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Adopt, implement, and improve where necessary the juwi construction management standards/ processes to minimize project risk and maximize performance</li><li>Ensure compliance with all specifications and requirements in accordance with drawings and specification associated with construction, quality, testing, commissioning, and handover</li><li>Responsible for achieving construction schedule and payment milestones, including preparation / compilation of all supporting documentation</li><li>Coordination and cooperation with relevant internal and external interfaces</li><li>Ensure full compliance with the QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes, and requirements in the Region</li><li>Responsible for handover to O&amp;M and/or the Owner via Construction Site manager</li></ul>Your energy is requiredYou impress us with these qualifications;<ul><li>Engineering degree (civil, mechanical or electrical), or relevant</li><li>Minimum of 5 years construction management experience in Electrical infrastructure projects with overall responsibility, 4 years of which gained managing large scale solar PV plants with the emphasis on grid connection (HV Substation) &nbsp;</li><li>Excellent communication skills, able to communicate at all levels both internally and externally (suppliers and customers)</li><li>A proven track record in successfully delivering projects on time, on budget, safely and compliant with technical &amp; quality requirements and relevant standards</li><li>Experience of working autonomously, as the position requires leadership, decision making and problem solving &nbsp;</li><li>Conversant with construction management tools (i.e. &nbsp;Project controls, scheduling, monitoring and document control), MS Project, MS Planner, MS Office, Autodesk BIM, Procore etc.</li><li>Demonstrable experience of construction cost, schedule, risk, technical and quality management, and quality control</li><li>Conversant with construction, environmental and safety requirements, and legislation</li><li>An understanding of standard contract forms and contract management</li><li>English and Greek: fluent speaker &nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrable ability to work in matrix organizations and to operate in a culturally diverse international environment</li><li>Team player with demonstrable leadership qualities</li><li>Must have experience in reading grid works standard drawings</li><li>Substation Platform construction – Earthworks</li><li>Earth grid installation including copper joints and earth tails experience</li><li>Yard stone and Kerb stone installation experience&nbsp;</li><li>Transformer plinth construction knowledge</li><li>Transformer bund wall and Oil dam installation knowledge</li><li>Experience on transformer slipway construction</li><li>Transformer rigging experience</li><li>Subsoil drainage installation experience</li><li>Earth resistivity and earth continuity tests knowledge</li><li>Construction of the equipment support foundations and earth tails installation experience</li><li>Equipment steel support installation</li><li>Experience in reading lattice tower assembly drawings</li><li>Primary equipment installation experience</li><li>Stringing of conductor experience and termination knowledge</li><li>Installation of control cables and protection cables experience</li><li>Control plant installation experience</li><li>Indoor switchgear installation experience</li><li>Experience on assembling and erection of gantries&nbsp;</li><li>Experienced and knowledge on installation of tubular bus bars, electrical equipment, earthing,&nbsp;</li><li>Be authorised or licensed to do HV switching, very experience on isolation protocols and usage of earth links and substation barricading principles</li><li>Knowledge and experience on overhead transmission lines will be an added advantage.</li><li>Lock Out Tag Out procedure in depth knowledge</li><li>Substation Work Permit System in depth knowledge&nbsp;</li><li>Control building construction experience including false floors and cable ladders installation knowledge</li><li>Logistics and material management experience</li><li>Quality management experience</li><li>In addition to the duties mentioned above, the job holder is required to carry out other duties that are in essence part of his area of activity, according to his knowledge and abilities.</li><li>National and international travel will be required in line with business requirements&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Desirable Attributes<ul><li>Any further language, German, French, Italian</li><li>Possess a strong drive and have sharp analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Result and detailed-orientated approach</li><li>Engineering and Design abilities</li><li>RTK Drone experience</li><li>IOS experience</li></ul>You have more to offer?
