Responsibilities:<ol><li>Performs day-to-day activities such as accounting entries, register and filing, bank and other general ledger accounts reconciliations.</li><li>Matches and reviews the accuracy of all vendors’ invoices in Company’s ERP system in order to assure their timely payment and control the Company’s cash flow.</li><li>Posts all relevant accounting entries under the correct expense categories in order to provide correct information to the Senior Accountants for the preparation of the financial statements.</li><li>Performs procedures related to the Greek Law N.89.</li><li>Performs bank reconciliation and ensures that cash amounts in accounting ledgers reconcile with actual bank balance.</li><li>Checks all invoices and custom regulations, so that the company is granted VAT exemption.</li><li>Maintains Greek accounting books and handles all tax issues.</li><li>Reviews revenue accounting entries based on their supporting documents, in order to ensure timely closing of accounts.</li><li>Posts all relevant accounting entries under the correct expense categories, so as to provide correct information to the Senior Accountants for the preparation of the financial statements.</li><li>Prepares, examines and settles vendors’ reconciliations assuring that vendors’ requests are met based on payment agreement and that no delays exist in the accounts payable process.</li><li>Prepares the final payment amounts and makes the respective entries of employees’ corporate credit cards assuring the implementation of Company’s “credit card policy”.</li></ol>Qualifications / Experience:<ol><li>Bachelor degree in Accounting/ Finance or any relevant field.</li><li>Minimum 2&nbsp;years of experience in various accounting areas (A/R, A/P, general entries, B / C category books).</li><li>Experience in the shipping industry will be considered an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of Navision will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literacy.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure</li></ol>

Accountant

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Communicates to Masters Voyage instructions, port requirements, local regulations, cargo requirements and precautions, ship’s charter party description and applicable clauses.</li><li>Checks&nbsp;cargo docs, LOIs, bunker requirements and authorizes bunker invoices.</li><li>Issues voyage instructions, ship’s cargo holds preparation instructions and Monitors ship’s cargo holds condition and preparation.</li><li>Communicates with charterers via broking channels.</li><li>Monitors the actual day-to-day performance and financial expenditure of the vessels.</li><li>Coordinates with Chartering department in describing vessel’s particular characteristics and reviews Charter Party clauses.</li><li>Appoints cargo and bunker surveyors and port agents and arranges various services that the ship requires. Updates position list and position books, checks with agent the ship’s prospects and approves D/As.</li><li>Liaises with the Insurance and Claims Departments in handling of claims, hazardous situations, accidents and P &amp; I involvement.</li><li>Monitors the performance of the vessels based on charter party and Company’s requirements and guidelines. Also monitors the daily performance at Sea with regards to speed, consumption and weather conditions.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>5&nbsp;years of office experience as Operator&nbsp;in a shipping company with bulk carriers.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Communication &amp; negotiation skills.</li></ul>

Fleet Operator

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support SOX Compliance program to ensure that Company’s internal controls over financial reporting are effectively implemented. Main tasks of the program involve the evaluation of the existing controls’ effectiveness through testing procedures, identification and evaluation of audit findings and remediation follow-up. &nbsp;Assist in the preparation of SOX scoping, risk assessment and fraud risk assessment using quantitative and qualitative factors.</li><li>Participate in meetings with Company’s key personnel to gain understanding of Company’s processes and existing controls.</li><li>Assist in the preparation and provision of documentation related to process walkthroughs.</li><li>Assisting in execution of planned and ad-hoc internal audits projects through all phases of the audit (documentation review, fieldwork, recommendations and remediation follow-up).</li><li>Identify, document and communicate audit findings to the members of Internal Audit Department. Participate and assist in the preparation of presentations to the Company’s Audit Committee and Management.</li><li>Communicate with Company’s external auditors around SOX Compliance program, as well as any other Company’s independent auditor and/ or consultant.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or relevant field.</li><li>Up to 4 years of experience in Big Four or in an internal audit / accounting/ finance department of a public shipping company.</li><li>Professional qualifications (e.g. CIA) and/ or postgraduate degree in accounting/ finance/ business administration related fields will be considered an asset.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and experience in internal audit, SOX will be considered an asset.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge in Accounting ERP systems (i.e. Navision) will be considered an asset.</li><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially in Excel.</li><li>Fluency in English, both verbal and written.</li></ul>

Internal Auditor

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Administers / monitors Navision ERP.</li><li>Administers Microsoft Software (Active Directory, Exchange Server and SQL).</li><li>Prepares costing proposals in relation to changes in services and/or technical configuration changes in equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoots system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.</li><li>Assists office personnel to resolve daily issues, as required.</li><li>Supports software development.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or diploma in the fields of Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Telecommunications.</li><li>Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be an asset.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience on an IT-related job in the shipping industry.</li><li>Knowledge of Hyper-V, mobile communications, Microsoft software and data processing.</li><li>Familiarity with Navision software will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li></ul>

IT Officer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Installs and configures computer hardware operating systems and applications.</li><li>Sets up new users' accounts and profiles.</li><li>Supports the office personnel through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.</li><li>Performs hands-on technical maintenance tasks on the Company’s servers, telephone cables, desktops, operating systems and software applications.</li><li>Troubleshoots system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Telecommunications, or any similar field.</li><li>Previous experience in a similar position on IT related job will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li></ul>

Junior IT Officer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Checks the daily noon reports and evaluates the fleet performance.</li><li>Issues speed and consumption results and communicates them to other departments.</li><li>Analyses the voyage data and informs the department’s Manager against defined performance criteria.</li><li>Monitors and files all performance data.</li><li>Follows up on the performance and voyage KPIs.</li><li>Prepares reports, as requested.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>University degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a relevant position at a shipping company.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li></ul>

Performance Engineer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Organizes and coordinates the repairs / installations of parts and equipment for the communication and navigation electronic equipment onboard the vessels.</li><li>Compares all malfunctions, repairs and evaluations and proposes suitable, economic and efficient troubleshooting solutions.</li><li>Organizes and monitors the maintenance, servicing and proper operating condition onboard of the Navigation and Communication Electronic Equipment.</li><li>Arranges all Radio/VDR annual surveys.</li><li>Cooperates with MSQ, purchasing, technical and accounting staff regarding Radio/Nav issues, requisitions and payments.</li><li>Provides equipment and service support for the navigation products to the vessels and superintendent engineers.</li><li>Communicates with important suppliers and tracks the respective contracts.</li><li>Checks incoming requisitions for spares, related to navigation communication electronic equipment, in cooperation with the purchasing department and ensures for prompt delivery onboard.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree on Electronics or Electrical Engineering.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a shipping company.</li><li>Master’s degree and experience as Repair and Installation Technician or Radio Surveyor will be considered an asset.</li><li>Knowledge of Marine Communication Systems.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Compute Literate.</li><li>Excellent communication &amp; organization skills.</li></ul>

Radio Navigation Electronic Engineer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Regularly visits company’s vessels to report on their condition and/or supervise repairs.</li><li>Performs riding attendance as defined by the Maintenance Manager, including preparation for third-party inspections (e.g., terminals, port state, class, flag, P&amp;I), always ensuring compliance with the company's safety, quality, and environmental standards.</li><li>Monitors the repair and maintenance of vessels, offering similar support to the rest of the fleet vessels.&nbsp;</li><li>Attends dry dockings to ensure all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager and/or Technical SupEng are carried out to specification, ensuring the vessel is delivered in seaworthy condition and ready in all respects.</li><li>Assists in preparing dry dock and repair specifications.</li><li>Provides technical support to the personnel onboard.</li><li>Attends new acquisitions and vessel sales to new buyers.</li><li>Travels abroad to ports frequented by the company's vessels to conduct inspections, assist onboard personnel, and monitor the preparation of third-party inspections.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Chief Engineer’s or 2nd&nbsp;Engineer’s license and minimum 3 years of sea service at these positions.</li><li>Office experience as Superintendent Engineer will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Computer literate.</li><li>Travel mobility.</li></ul>

Roving Engineer

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Organizes and implements courses of action for matters of technical nature arising onboard vessels.</li><li>Instructs, coordinates and monitors works / repairs.</li><li>Follows up on the maintenance status, condition and operation of assigned vessels and co-operates with the crew, in order to ensure that assigned vessels are operating in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Attends vessels and periodically sails on-board to ensure the technical condition of the equipment.</li><li>Monitors and verifies vessel’s performance, supervises repairs, reports findings, follows-up closure of defects etc.</li><li>Provides training and technical advice to shipboard personnel, as necessary.</li><li>Implements effectively preventive maintenance of ship’s hull, main machinery, deck machinery, etc.</li><li>Monitors Class and Flag State requirements and plans required surveys accordingly.</li><li>Deals with any damage repairs or modifications, preserving the vessels commercial competence.</li><li>Monitors all technical problems, major defects and follows-up, until corrective action is verified.</li><li>Controls and monitors the lub-oil and bunker quality and consumption.</li><li>Prepares repairs / conversions, dry-docking, special surveys, damage and voyage repairs, and specifications and supervises the execution of all such works.</li><li>Attends delivery of new acquisitions.</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:1. Degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture and minimum 6 years of office experience or Chief Engineer’s license, minimum 3 years of sea service as Chief Engineer and 1 year of office experience as Superintendent Engineer.2. Fluency in English.3. Computer literate.4. Excellent communication skills.5. Travel mobility.

Technical Superintendent

Responsibilities:<ul><li>Installs, configures and troubleshoots laptops, printers, mobiles, tablets, storage systems and network devices (hardware, operating systems and software applications).</li><li>Monitors IT systems’ performance and ensures system availability and reliability.</li><li>Performs system and network updates/upgrades.</li><li>Maintains IT security and backup solutions.</li><li>Is responsible to ensure Master’s and Chief Engineer’s familiarization on company’s IT systems.</li><li>Travels on board for maintenance or troubleshooting reasons, whenever required.</li><li>Handles invoices’ checking, reconciliation, processing and filing for all vendors and technical / solution&nbsp;suppliers (office communications, vessels’ satellite and mobile communications, ICT equipment,&nbsp;procurement).</li></ul>Qualifications / Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or diploma in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or any similar field.</li><li>Post-graduate studies in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position.</li><li>Experience in shipping and knowledge of ships automation systems will be considered an asset.</li><li>Fluency in English.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li></ul>
