The AML Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing and implementing the company’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), Risk Management, and Fraud Prevention frameworks for the Greek market, ensuring full compliance with Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) regulations, Law 4557/2018, and relevant EU directives.This role ensures the company maintains the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and responsible operation across all risk domains. Our projects typically involve managing multiple stakeholders, coordinating with them to analyze their reporting requirements while considering the regulatory authorities and the corresponding framework, and therefore provide them with the most robust, efficient, and streamlined solution.We are currently seeking experienced professionals with a strong interest in Financial Services/Regulatory Reporting to join our team. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in our team during a time of exciting growth.&nbsp;Your key responsibilities<ul><li>Support our clients to review current business processes, perform target state analysis, define business requirements, as well as develop functional and technical specifications.</li><li>Design and implement automated processes for regulatory reporting/calculations in the areas of Financial Risk Management and Asset &amp; Liability Management (ALM), using technologies, such as SQL, Python, No-SQL, as well as reporting mechanisms and tools</li><li>Implementation of risk management solutions including configuration, customization, solution development and integration.</li><li>Provide the configuration, customization and integration of reporting solutions/software, for the generation of regulatory reports/disclosures in various formats (excel, xbrl).</li><li>Monitor changes provided by the regulators regarding reporting/disclosure requirements.</li><li>Compose policy and procedures documentation.</li><li>Produce user manuals and provide training to end users.</li><li>Testing and Quality Assurance.</li><li>Communicate, provide guidance, and establish professional and trust relationships with clients.</li><li>Communicate and establish professional and trust relationships with clients.</li><li>Assist in the project management tasks, including development of project charters, project plans, and status updates reports as well as overall project monitoring.</li><li>Communicate, provide guidance, and establish professional and trust relationships with clients.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Skills and attributes for success<ul><li>High level of professionalism with ability to work in challenging, diverse and evolving client environments.</li><li>Quick learner, showing flexibility and adaptability in new situations and fast-paced environments.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek; other languages will be considered an asset.</li><li>Strong team working skills are essential.</li><li>Proactive, dedicated and determined to excel professionally.</li><li>Ability to build strong client relationships.</li><li>Ability to coach and mentor junior staff.</li></ul>&nbsp;To qualify for the role, you must have:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, science or engineering.</li><li>3+ years of experience working in financial institutions, banking sector, or regulatory reporting.</li><li>Familiarity with technologies and programming languages such as SQL, Python, ETL tools (e.g. MS SSIS), MS Office.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a team of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.</li><li>Ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek; other languages will be considered an asset.</li></ul>&nbsp;Ideally, you’ll also have<ul><li>Master’s degree in Computer Science or other Business Areas (e.g. MBA, Finance, Business Analytics, Risk Management, etc.).</li><li>Knowledge of key financial regulatory concepts (e.g. CRR/CRD, ALM, IRRBB, COREP, FINREP, LCR/NSFR).</li><li>Programming knowledge or relevant experience/training (e.g. in Python, Java, C#).</li><li>Knowledge of key banking concepts (products, services).</li><li>Background in consulting environment.</li><li>Project management and client service skills.</li><li>Risk professional certifications (such as PRM, FRM).</li></ul>&nbsp;What we look forWhat’s most important is that you’re dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team.
