As a Financial Systems Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting area regarding its main IT system (SAP), by being the business administrator for these systems and facilitating the transformation projects of the team. &nbsp;What you will be doing<ul><li>Act as a business system administrator for the key IT systems used by relevant business areas, primarily the accounting system (SAP).</li><li>Monitor and keep audit trail of the requests for user access rights for the Bank’s key IT systems and assist with their regular review and respective role profiles.</li><li>Cooperate with the relevant teams of accounting areas to understand the needs for IT automation and translate them into IT requirements.</li><li>Prepare and review functional specifications that involve new improvements to existing software and coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for their implementation.</li><li>Liaise with IT Business Areas and external consultants to define solutions for IT automation needs and drive their execution and testing.</li><li>Provide the configuration, customization and integration of reporting platforms for the generation of reports and disclosures in various formats (i.e. excel, xbrl).</li><li>Collect and process relevant information and accounting data to produce reports and statistics as required.</li><li>Compose policy and procedure documentation regarding the accounting system (SAP).</li><li>Produce and update user manuals and train business users.</li><li>Coordinate end-to-end delivery of finance system enhancements, including requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, testing, and deployment, ensuring smooth implementation and system performance.</li></ul>What you need to have<ul><li>A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or other related fields.</li><li>&nbsp;A Master’s degree in a related field will be considered a plus.</li><li>Seven (7) years of professional experience in accounting related services in a financial institution.</li></ul>What we offerIt’s all about our people. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will provide expert guidance throughout partners update and optimize their finance operations.&nbsp;Your key responsibilities<ul><li>Develop comprehensive project plans; identify and managing project dependencies and critical path tasks; define scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation and anticipate project risks</li><li>Participate in the project's delivery lifecycle, which includes: understanding project objectives and requirements, participating in design, analysis and testing and supporting successful project delivery</li><li>Monitor project progress against milestones using appropriate tools, implement effective mitigation strategies and contingency planning and resolve issues</li><li>Review proposed modifications to project plans and initiate the change management process, facilitating approval and implementation by stakeholders</li><li>Provide regular project progress report updates to clients and internal teams, highlighting strategic decisions to be made by client management and promptly addressing any concerns</li><li>Determine success metrics for project participants and setting clear expectations for all parties involved</li></ul>&nbsp;Skills and Attributes for Success<ul><li>Proactive mindset with strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work within project constraints, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones</li><li>Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Detail oriented focus with a logical and methodical approach</li><li>Positive attitude, team working and dedicated work ethic</li><li>Commercial awareness, negotiation skills and ability to foster strong client relationships</li><li>Excellent academic record, ideally including a postgraduate degree in Project Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field</li><li>2-5 years of Project Management experience in large projects</li><li>Good working knowledge of finance technology (e.g., SAP, Budgeting and Planning or Treasury tools)</li><li>Understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello)</li><li>Client facing ability and capacity to coordinate virtual teams</li><li>Capacity to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, and professional manner (both in Greek and English)</li></ul>&nbsp;Ideally, you’ll also have<ul><li>PMP, Prince II, or other project management certification</li></ul>&nbsp;What We Look ForWhat’s most important is that you’re dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team.
