We are currently looking for&nbsp;an&nbsp;Energy&nbsp;Market Optimization Expert&nbsp;to join our&nbsp;RES &amp; Storage Assets Optimization team in Paiania, Greece&nbsp;and play a key role in maximizing the value of&nbsp;Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in the greek electricity market.&nbsp;In this highly analytical role, you will focus on the&nbsp;design, development, and implementation of advanced optimization models&nbsp;that enable&nbsp;optimal&nbsp;BESS participation in the Greek&nbsp;Balancing Market, while also supporting Day-Ahead and Intraday market strategies.&nbsp;&nbsp;Your role will encompass:&nbsp;<ul><li>Mathematical&nbsp;Optimization Modelling&nbsp;:&nbsp; Design and implement&nbsp;Mathematical Optimization models&nbsp;(LP, MILP)&nbsp;to&nbsp;optimize&nbsp;BESS dispatch and participation in the Greek electricity markets, ensuring&nbsp;the maximization of captured opportunities under&nbsp;technical&nbsp;and market constraints.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Market Strategy &amp;&nbsp;Power Trading:&nbsp; Participate directly in&nbsp;trading&nbsp;activities across&nbsp;Day-Ahead, Intraday, and Balancing markets,&nbsp;providing&nbsp;quantitative insights that enhance trading strategies and asset revenue optimization.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Algorithmic Integration &amp; Automation:&nbsp; Embed optimization model outputs into&nbsp;structured algorithmic workflows and automated bidding processes, ensuring seamless integration between optimization results and market execution.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Cross-Functional Collaboration:&nbsp; Work closely with&nbsp;trading, engineering, and asset optimization teams&nbsp;to translate operational constraints, market rules, and technical characteristics of BESS assets into robust mathematical formulations.&nbsp;</li></ul><ul><li>Model Governance &amp; Performance:&nbsp; Ensure model robustness, numerical stability, and operational reliability while&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;alignment between optimization outputs and real-world asset behavior.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;What you bring to the role:&nbsp;<ul><li>Academic Background:&nbsp; Bachelor’s degree in&nbsp;Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Property Management of Leased Assets<ul><li>Manage a portfolio of leased residential acting as the primary contact for owners, tenants, and service providers.</li><li>Oversee the tenancy lifecycle: tenant onboarding, lease execution, rent collection, renewals, dispute resolution, and end-of-tenancy handover procedures.</li><li>Ensure all managed properties comply with applicable Greek legal and regulatory requirements, including tenancy law, health and safety obligations, and insurance requirements.</li><li>Prepare, monitor, and report on annual property budgets, service charge schedules, and operating costs, ensuring financial performance targets are met.</li><li>Coordinate and supervise facility management, maintenance, and service delivery contractors, ensuring KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved.</li><li>Conduct regular property inspections, identify maintenance needs, and manage refurbishment or improvement programmes within approved budgets.</li><li>Deliver a premium resident and tenant experience consistent with The Ellinikon brand, proactively addressing complaints, managing escalations, and driving satisfaction metrics.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each managed property using property management systems, ensuring data integrity for reporting purposes.</li></ul>B. New Property Asset Acquisition<ul><li>Identify and evaluate new property management opportunities, including third-party mandates, institutional portfolios, and individual asset owners seeking professional management services.</li><li>Conduct market research and competitive analysis on the Greek real estate and property management market, identifying trends, pipeline opportunities, and target acquisition areas aligned with Lamda Smart Living’s strategy.</li><li>Build and nurture a network of property owners, developers, real estate agents, and institutional investors to generate a steady pipeline of new management mandates.</li><li>Prepare compelling commercial proposals, fee structures, and property management agreements for prospective clients, presenting Lamda Smart Living’s value proposition in a structured and persuasive manner.</li><li>Lead the onboarding of newly acquired properties into the Lamda Smart Living management platform, coordinating legal, technical, financial, and operational workstreams to ensure a smooth transition.</li><li>Track and report on portfolio growth metrics, occupancy rates, revenue per managed unit, and client retention KPIs, presenting performance updates to senior management on a regular basis.&nbsp;</li></ul>You will be a successful candidate for our job opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria:&nbsp;Academic Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a relevant field.</li><li>Master’s degree (MSc or MBA) in Real Estate, Property Management, Asset Management, or a related field will be considered a strong asset.</li><li>Professional certification in property or facility management (e.g. RICS, CPM, RPA) is highly desirable.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with property management software (e.g. Yardi, MRI, or equivalent) will be considered an asset.</li><li>Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Greek is required.</li></ul>Professional Experience<ul><li>Minimum 10 years of professional experience in property management, real estate asset management, or a closely related field, with a demonstrated track record of managing residential or mixed-use property portfolios.</li><li>Proven experience in tenant relationship management, lease administration, and service charge management, ideally within a premium or branded residential environment.</li><li>Demonstrated experience or strong interest in business development, including identifying new mandates, presenting commercial proposals, and onboarding new property assets under management.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Greek tenancy legislation, property law, and building regulations is required; familiarity with international standards and best practice (UK, UAE, USA) is highly valued.</li><li>Experience coordinating and supervising FM, maintenance, and third-party service contractors within a multi-asset environment, with a clear understanding of KPI and performance management frameworks.</li><li>Prior experience working within a real estate developer, a professional property management firm, or a private equity real estate platform is strongly preferred.&nbsp;</li></ul>On a personal side, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following qualities:<ul><li>Proactive, meticulous, efficient, detail-oriented and accountable.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make sound operational decisions.</li><li>Manage multiple properties and workstreams simultaneously, prioritising effectively under pressure.</li><li>Committed to delivering high-quality outcomes on time and exhibits strong organisational skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder dynamics with owners, tenants, contractors, lawyers, and internal teams.</li><li>Focused on execution — gets things done, follows through, and takes ownership of outcomes.</li><li>Driven by commercial results, with a genuine interest in growing the managed portfolio and improving asset performance.</li><li>Client-oriented, caring deeply about delivering a unique, premium experience that improves owner and resident satisfaction.</li></ul>Our Company offers:Our vision is to bring to life the largest urban regeneration project in Europe.
