ΤΕΧΝΙΚΟΣ ΑΣΦΑΛΕΙΑΣ ΓΙΑ ΤΟ ΜΕΤΡΟ ΓΡΑΜΜΗ 4

The EHS Engineer will play a crucial role in establishing a culture of safety within railway network projects in Central and Northern Greece. EHS Engineer will supervise fieldwork and ensuring that all safety procedures are met throughout the duration of the projects. This position will focus on developing the EHS system from the start, ensuring compliance with safety standards.&nbsp;Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and establish a safety culture and promote EHS continuous improvement throughout the project.</li><li>Ensure that the EHS Management System aligns with Alstom's EHS processes, local legal requirements, and international standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) are implemented and maintained.</li><li>Coordinate the development and implementation of EHS Risk Assessments, EHS Management Plans, and Method Statements.</li><li>Measure, monitor, and evaluate key characteristics of operations and activities</li><li>Manage and report KPIs related to EHS performance to ensure compliance with established goals.</li><li>Ensure that all accidents and incidents are prevented, reported, recorded, investigated, and analyzed to mitigate risks.</li><li>Provide technical support and guidance to the site team to ensure adherence to EHS practices and procedures.</li><li>Contribute to the standardization and consistency of EHS processes, facilitating integration and implementation across the project.</li><li>Support project execution processes end-to-end, ensuring alignment with EHS objectives.</li><li>Define training needs and deploy learning and development programs to enhance EHS competencies among team members.</li><li>Ensure that the project's subcontractors comply with Alstom's EHS requirements and local legislation.</li><li>Conducting regular workplace inspections to ensure compliance.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.</li><li>Health and Safety, Environmental&nbsp; qualifications</li><li>Good knowledge and understanding of ISO 45001, 14001, relevant certifications are a plus.</li><li>Proven experience in EHS roles, preferably within construction or transportation projects.</li><li>Good understanding of Greek legislation related to Health and Safety.</li><li>Analytical skills and experience in risk assessment methodologies.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment.</li></ul>

EHS Engineer

The Health &amp; Safety Senior Associate will be reporting to the Health &amp; Safety Senior Manager.Our new colleague in this position will be a Senior Health &amp; Safety Engineer and will join the Site Management team.The successful candidate will be responsible for:<ul><li>Implementing and monitoring health and safety management systems, policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, national, and industry regulations as well as Ellinikon’s specific requirements.</li><li>Provides expert HS guidance to project management, contractors, and site teams, ensuring safe execution of complex, multi-disciplinary construction activities.</li><li>Minimizing risks and ensuring the well-being of all personnel involved in the affected project.</li></ul>&nbsp;In detail, the Health &amp; Safety Senior Associate shall be responsible for the following tasks:<ul><li>Implement effectively the Health and Safety Management System towards excellent performance.</li><li>Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with all legal and contractual safety obligations Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety.</li><li>Implement and oversee health and safety policies, procedures and compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Monitors risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.</li><li>Support the H&amp;S consultants providing direction and ensuring effective coordination and communication of safety initiatives.</li><li>Plan and perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks; identify non-conformities and ensure timely corrective actions.</li><li>Coordinate the investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; review the reports and the implementation of preventive measures.</li><li>Report any deficiencies that may put the project at risk not achieving the zero-tolerance H&amp;S targets established for the overall construction program as well as individual projects.</li><li>Support the emergency preparedness and coordinate regular drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.</li><li>Promotes a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset across the project.</li></ul>You will be a successful candidate for our job opening, if you can identify yourself with the following criteria:Academic Qualifications:<ul><li>B.S.
