This position is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to the effective operation of our lab environments, with a focus on IT product configuration, server management (Linux &amp; Microsoft), and network equipment support.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provide hands-on assistance in configuring and maintaining lab environments, focusing on Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Office 365, and Azure services.</li><li>Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, ensuring optimal functionality and security.</li><li>Support the configuration and management of network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) to ensure efficient and secure lab operations.</li><li>Oversee system performance, addressing any technical issues to minimize downtime for students and faculty during lab sessions.</li><li>Set up and maintain hardware in the labs, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.</li><li>Manage the installation and licensing of academic software packages, development tools, and security suites.</li><li>Ensure all lab systems and networks align with university IT security policies and industry best practices.</li><li>Perform any other duty as assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
