Intellectica is recruiting on behalf of its client, a rapidly growing group of companies active in architecture, construction, and hospitality development, headquartered in Athens. The company is currently seeking an experienced Architect to join its growing team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Design Director and offers the opportunity to contribute to conceptually rich and technically refined projects across Greece.Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:<ul><li>Leading and participating in the design, development, and delivery of architectural and construction projects, ensuring creative and technical excellence</li><li>Supporting the preparation and execution of pre-design studies and feasibility assessments</li><li>Preparing, adapting, and refining architectural drawings and technical documentation to meet project requirements and site conditions</li><li>Presenting design concepts and progress updates to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed</li><li>Actively managing day-to-day site operations, including scheduling, supervising crews, and ensuring timely delivery</li><li>Supervising construction activities ensuring compliance with design intent, quality standards, and safety regulations</li><li>Managing and coordinating multiple teams and subcontractors on-site, resolving technical issues as they arise</li><li>Coordinating the process of obtaining necessary permits and approvals for construction projects</li><li>Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and successful project outcomes</li><li>Ensuring all project documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations and standards</li><li>Providing updates to the Lead Architect on design and construction progress</li><li>Any other tasks that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; master’s degree is considered a plus</li><li>At least 5 years of proven experience in both architectural design and construction, with strong on-site management responsibilities</li><li>Proven exposure to residential, hospitality and F&amp;B projects from concept to completion</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)</li><li>Strong understanding of Greek Building Codes and permitting processes</li><li>Valid driving license</li><li>Fluency in both Greek and English (written and spoken)</li></ul>Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities</li><li>Creative problem-solving and adaptability</li><li>Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset</li><li>High attention to detail and commitment to quality</li><li>Proactive and eager to stay updated with industry developments</li></ul>
