As a&nbsp;Contracts Manager&nbsp;at&nbsp;Metlen&nbsp;you will be a fundamental part of the project management team for the construction of a CCGT Thermal Power Plant. This position will be based in Paiania, Athens.Your role will encompass:<ul><li>Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of contracts to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and optimize commercial outcomes across the project lifecycle.</li><li>Oversee the preparation and management of contracts related to CCGT projects, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contracts, PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements), O&amp;M (Operations &amp; Maintenance) agreements, and supplier/vendor contracts.</li><li>Ensure all contracts are aligned with applicable legal and regulatory requirements in close coordination with the legal team.</li><li>Manage contract execution, amendments, and close-out processes, providing direction and guidance to Project Management teams.</li><li>Identify, assess, and proactively manage contractual risks, implementing mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.</li><li>Drive contract performance management, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, timelines, and deliverables across all stakeholders.</li><li>Lead the management of claims, variations, and dispute resolution processes, coordinating with Project Management and relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for all contractual matters, providing guidance and strategic input to internal teams.</li><li>Lead negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and clients to secure commercially favourable terms and manage contractual exposure.</li><li>Support and guide commercial and procurement teams in supplier evaluation, tendering, and contract award processes.</li><li>Oversee contract-related financial aspects in collaboration with project managers and finance teams, including budgets, payments, and cost control.</li></ul>What you bring to the role:&nbsp;<ul><li>MSc in Engineering , or a related discipline.</li><li>8+ years of professional experience in the construction and/or energy sector, with strong exposure to EPC or large-scale infrastructure projects.</li><li>Proven experience managing complex contractual frameworks, including FIDIC.</li><li>Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and influence key stakeholders.</li><li>Proven track record in managing contractual risk, claims, and dispute resolution.</li><li>Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent command of English.</li><li>Ability to travel.</li></ul>Share the same Value Based Behaviors:<ul><li>People &amp; Personal growth</li><li>Results orientation &amp; Safety excellence</li><li>Collaboration &amp; Trust</li><li>Empathy &amp; Effective communication</li><li>Flexibility &amp; Adaptability</li></ul>Your Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive remuneration package</li><li>Ticket Restaurant Card</li><li>Group Health Insurance Plan</li><li>Preferential household electricity plan</li><li>Pension Plan</li></ul>
