Reporting to the Sous Chef, the Demi Chef plays an essential role in supporting daily food preparation, maintaining culinary standards and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes. This position requires creativity, strong teamwork and a genuine passion for gastronomy, contributing to the exceptional dining experiences that define Aman hospitality.Responsibilities<ul><li>Support the daily food preparation and cooking processes to meet Aman culinary standards.</li><li>Execute assigned duties with precision, consistency and attention to detail.</li><li>Ensure that all ingredients are prepared, stored and handled according to food safety guidelines.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the kitchen and service teams to deliver seamless and refined dining experiences.</li><li>Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, organization and readiness of kitchen work areas.</li><li>Contribute to menu execution and the preparation of dishes during service.</li><li>Uphold quality and presentation standards across all assigned stations.</li><li>Support senior chefs with operational requirements as needed.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>A degree in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution in Greece or abroad.</li><li>1–2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.</li><li>Experience in Michelin-starred restaurants is considered an advantage.</li><li>Fluency in English is desirable.</li><li>Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.</li><li>A creative, detail-oriented and collaborative mindset aligned with Aman values.</li><li>You must have the legal right to work in Greece.</li></ul>BenefitsAt Aman Group, we believe that our colleagues are at the core of our success.
