Main duties will include ensuring delivery of the highest standards of yacht maintenance and reliability, providing prompt and courteous technical service to charter guests while on their yacht vacation, and technical repairs on yachts in preparation for charter.&nbsp;Working hours vary, and you MUST be flexible to operational requirements.What you will be doing<ul><li>Completing turnaround service checks, yacht preparation and deck washing</li><li>Briefing clients on the yacht's systems and safety equipment</li><li>Maintenance and repairs to yacht equipment</li><li>Proactive and preventative daily maintenance checks and repairs.</li><li>Engine servicing, oil and filter checks/changes</li><li>Maintenance of outboards for tenders</li><li>Emergency callouts for breakdowns on any of the fleet</li><li>Ensuring the safety of all clients, including safety briefings</li><li>Assisting clients with queries and problems</li><li>Assisting with the general running of the base</li><li>Any other duties as directed by the Base Manager</li></ul>What we are looking for<ul><li>Experience maintaining diesel engines and 2 &amp; 4 stroke outboard engines</li><li>A clear understanding of 12V DC electrical systems</li><li>A knowledge and enthusiasm to learn about marine plumbing systems.</li><li>Practically minded-with an ability to solve problems</li><li>Ability to work through pressurised conditions and with time constraints</li><li>Experience in a customer-orientated environment</li><li>Sociable and positive personality</li><li>Committed to their team</li><li>Yacht sailing experience is desirable but not essential</li></ul>

Base Technician

Sunsail is recruiting flotilla skippers based in Greece and Croatia to work in the Mediterranean for the Summer. Full seasonal roles are available on a one-week or two-week flotilla route. Full and high-season positions are open, and following successful summer placements, winter opportunities may be available.Primary duties will centre around the yachts, the base and ports of call. You and your lead boat team will be the face of the company. Working hours vary, and you MUST be flexible to operational requirements. Flotilla Skipper

We are currently recruiting a Base Technician to work in Lefkada, Greece. Working hours vary and you must be flexible to operational requirements.
