A Data Analyst&nbsp;(Business Intelligence) is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. This role will focus on various aspects of the hotel’s operations, including revenue optimization, and operational efficiency.Applicant’s main accountabilities:<ul><li>Collect and compile data from various sources (property management systems, reservations Platforms, financial reports) to create meaningful reports.</li><li>Develop and maintain regular performance reports on key metrics (occupancy rates, average daily rate, and revenue per available room).</li><li>Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape and pricing strategies of other hotels in Rhodes.</li><li>Assist in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts.</li><li>Provide insights into revenue and cost projections for the hotel’s financial planning.</li><li>Ensure data privacy and security protocols are followed in data handing and reporting. &nbsp;</li></ul>Applicant’s main qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data science or relevant field.</li><li>Master’s degree or equivalent in Data science, Economics or relevant field would be considered as extra asset.</li><li>Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).</li><li>Knowledge of hotel management systems and databases.</li><li>Minimum 2 years’ related experience in similar role.</li><li>Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus (preferably German).</li></ul>Applicant’s main capabilities &amp; values:<ul><li>Integrity and confidentiality.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.</li></ul>Company information and benefits:The company offers a competitive remuneration package in a dynamic and highly professional working environment. <ul><li>Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems. </li><li>Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott, including up-selling. Determine and give complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage (e.g., rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates). </li><li>Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally. Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points. Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. </li><li>Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
