In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility. The work model for the role is: onsite (#LI-onsite) This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Division, Operations department based in Athens while travelling within Greece. You will be mainly accountable for:<ul><li>Conduct on-site visits to support Preventive Maintenance Contracts, ensuring system reliability and performance. &nbsp;Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.</li><li>Visit customer installations to diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site within Greece.</li><li>Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.</li><li>Troubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future. Liaise with ABB support networks to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer concerns.</li><li>Perform commissioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and retrofitting of existing automation systems (DCS, HMI, PLC, SCADA), including both hardware and software components, as well as communication networks and infrastructure.</li><li>Provide ad-hoc technical support to commissioning teams, assisting in the resolution of unexpected issues during project execution.</li><li>Document and report all service actions taken in a clear, structured, and professional manner.</li></ul> Our team dynamics You will join an experienced and talented team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role:<ul><li>University Degree in Automation, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering</li><li>Previous experience 2-3 years in commissioning and maintenance of automation systems and communication networks</li><li>Possess an enhanced knowledge of DCS or PLC/HMI systems engineering and configuration</li><li>Excellent command of Greek &amp; English Language</li><li>Strong Computer literacy</li><li>Enjoy travelling, ability to travel around Greece and Cyprus on demand at high frequency</li><li>Self-motivation and a desire to learn about new technologies</li><li>Team Spirit and a solution-focused approach</li></ul>
