As an Assembly-Packaging Machine Operator Expert&nbsp;you will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of Assembly &amp; Packaging machines. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines by carrying out the 1st level of maintenance, which includes cleaning, lubrication, product set ups and adjustments. You will inform your supervisor of the machine efficiency, as well as, for any corrective and/or improvement actions that need to be taken. You will also participate in the preventive maintenance of these machines. You will be responsible for the training of the new machine operators. Finally, you will follow HSE and Quality regulations, as these are defined in our internal procedures.&nbsp;Main Responsibilities/Tasks:•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Start up and operation of Assembly &amp; Packaging machines •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Responsible for 1st level of maintenance •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Accountable for training new machine operators•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Participate in machine improvements•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Participate in preventive maintenance •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Monitor and record machine interventions •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Monitor and record product and machine parameters •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Carry out product changeovers and machine set ups •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Required to inform the Shift Supervisor and Production Supervisor •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Communicate with QA, QC, Industrialization, Central Maintenance •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Able to identify safety issues and handle reporting to the Shift Supervisor •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Responsible for Quality Control of final product •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Perform pre-determined audit controls according to the inspection plan •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Το comply with health, safety and environmental rules in accordance with company's policy and prescribed procedures &nbsp;Qualifications&nbsp;Required Skills• Technical School or Technical Institute Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, will beconsidered as a prerequisite• Certified with minimum licence of Technician (Mechanical or Electrical)• Adequate knowledge of English language (both written and verbal)• Advanced PC literacy (especially MS Office)• Work in shifts&nbsp;Preferred Skills• 3 years of working experience, preferably in industrial field&nbsp;Other Skills•Strong interpersonal skills to collaboratively work with BIC Team Members•Strong attention to detail, work ethic, sense of urgency, and desire to deliver results.

The position reports to the Packaging Manager and will be responsible for providing effective management and supervision to the Packaging operation to support company’s strategic goals and objectives.<ul><li>Supervise Packaging operation in Can Line to ensure high quality and effective production</li><li>Manage the department KPIs</li><li>Ensure compliance with HSE, food safety, hygiene and legal requirements</li><li>Ensure standardised problem-solving methodologies are used to resolve day to day problems</li><li>Develop direct reports to ensure thorough understanding of packaging technology and effective process control</li></ul>What we are looking for:<ul><li>University Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Also, will be responsible for the development of associated systems, designs, process technologies, and assist in projects formation.<h2>During your day you will:</h2><ul><li>Review and evaluate technical input produced by Third Parties (Technical Consultants, Technology Providers, Subcontractors), analyze and validate calculations, technical specifications, mass and energy balances/ conversions for:<ul><li>Solid Waste Management process (biodrying, anaerobic and aerobic digestion)</li><li>Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities</li><li>Biogas/ biomethane production and utilization</li></ul></li><li>Design Mechanical, Biological, Chemical Processes and models for Solid (Waste), Liquid (Waste, Waste Water) and Gas (Biogas, biomethane) streams i.e. Process flows, mass and energy balances, in accordance with the relevant legislation</li><li>Communicate with Third Parties (Technical Consultants, Technology Providers, Subcontractors) and with the in-house Engineering teams (Civils, Electrical, Engineering) for technical issues and relevant resolutions</li><li>Evaluates the technical part of the Contracts (Technology Providers, Technical Consultants)</li><li>Collaborate and support Construction &amp; Operation Project Management teams to develop technical chemical solutions</li><li>Provide insights in addressing and improving existing chemical processes and mitigate risks to ensure safe operation of the facilities</li><li>Stays abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the energy sector, incorporating relevant advancements into project designs and recommendations</li><li>Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and proposals that effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences</li></ul><h2>What you need to stand out:</h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or other related field</li><li>Master’ s degree in Engineering (relevant fields solid waste, water management, biological treatment etc.) will be considered an asset</li><li>Minimum 5 years previous experience in a similar role in construction industry.
