Intellectica is recruiting a Bids &amp; Proposal Engineer on behalf of its client, a leading provider of engineering solutions for subsea cable installation and offshore energy infrastructure. With a strong focus on technical excellence and reliable project delivery, the company is expanding its team to support a growing portfolio of international projects. Based in Attiki, Greece, the role reports to the to the Operations Manager of the Offshore &amp; Marine Construction Division and will be responsible for the end‑to‑end preparation, coordination and delivery of high‑quality technical and techno‑commercial proposals.&nbsp;Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:&nbsp;<ul><li>Leading the end‑to‑end preparation of technical and techno‑commercial bids, ensuring proposals are complete, compliant and aligned with client tender requirements and specifications</li><li>Reviewing and interpreting client documentation (RFQs, ITTs, technical specifications) to define the scope, key assumptions and overall bid strategy</li><li>Developing the technical value proposition, including installation methodologies, execution concepts, method statements and clear technical narratives for offshore and subsea works</li><li>Coordinating internal and external inputs, collaborating with engineering, project management, operations, subcontractors and suppliers to consolidate technical and commercial data into cohesive bid packages</li><li>Supporting cost estimation by providing accurate technical input, engineering assumptions and resource requirements to enable precise pricing</li><li>Preparing project schedules and resource plans to demonstrate realistic execution timelines</li><li>Maintaining and enhancing the bid documentation library, ensuring templates, methodologies, reference content and historical data remain updated and reusable</li><li>Participating in internal bid reviews and risk assessments, contributing to risk identification and proposing mitigation measures</li><li>Managing post‑submission clarifications and technical discussions with clients in close cooperation with tendering and commercial teams</li><li>Any other task that may be required from time to time</li></ul>Professional experience &amp; qualifications of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or a related field</li><li>Professional experience in offshore, subsea or marine projects, ideally within installation engineering, project engineering, marine operations or similar technical roles</li><li>Exposure to tendering / bidding / proposal preparation for technical projects (energy, marine, subsea, infrastructure)</li><li>Proven technical writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured and concise technical documentation</li><li>Good understanding or interest in installation methodologies, vessel operations and subsea execution concepts</li><li>Confident user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with planning tools (e.g. MS Project) is a plus</li><li>Willingness to travel occasionally for project meetings, site visits or discussions with clients and subcontractors</li><li>Excellent command of Greek and English (spoken and written)</li></ul>&nbsp;Core competencies of a successful candidate:<ul><li>Analytical and structured thinking</li><li>Clear and confident communicator</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li><li>Collaborative and team-focused mindset</li><li>Reliable under deadlines</li><li>Adaptable and proactive problem-solving</li></ul>
