Successful applicants will gain exceptional opportunities to build expertise in risk modelling and validation, working on diverse projects for leading financial institutions across Europe and beyond.#AboutYourRole As a Consultant in our Risk Advisory department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients in identifying, assessing, and managing risks that may impact their business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise to deliver value-added insights.You will work collaboratively with the wider Financial Risk Measurement team and our clients. The role requires flexibility to tackle a wide range of tasks:<ul><li>Contribute to all aspects of credit and traded risk model development and deployment including design, coding, testing, validation and review. The most common types of credit risk models worked on by the team are operational scorecards, IRB capital models for Pillar 1 Credit Risk, IFRS 9 impairment models, forecasting models and stress testing models.</li><li>Help deliver projects to evaluate, design and implement policies, procedures and strategies to effectively deploy and execute risk models and processes, consistent with regulatory requirements and/or market practice across credit risk model delivery.</li><li>Perform reviews of risk model deployment and execution frameworks, including gathering business requirements, assessing conceptual designs, examining governance and controls, and testing outcomes.</li><li>Help the team expand its range of services and solutions in the market place, considering operations, analytics and target operating model considerations for clients, plus how to deliver with third party providers.</li><li>Keep up to date with academic, technical and industry developments in the field of credit and traded risk management, deployment and implementation.</li><li>Applicants will need to be able to review large volumes of information quickly and efficiently in order to identify and disseminate the key points in a coherent manner.</li></ul>Applicants should be also committed to building long-term professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders, working with our senior management team to develop industry contacts. Candidates should also share our firm’s commitment to creating and maintaining a respectful and inclusive culture. #OurRequirements Key Qualifications<ul><li>Academic background in a quantitative field such as Business Engineering, Civil Engineering, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Risk Management, or Banking &amp; Finance (Master’s degree or professional qualification such as PRMIA, GARP, CFA is an advantage).</li><li>Solid knowledge of stochastic calculus, financial mathematics, and risk modelling (e.g., derivatives pricing, market/credit risk, quantitative finance applications).Experience in Financial Maths (ex. Support the Hotel Business Partner Manager by assisting with financial analysis, monitoring operational performance, and preparing reports and presentation materials for internal use.Assist the Manager in coordinating with Budget Holders and Operational Teams by providing data, tracking performance, and preparing variance summaries.Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts by gathering data, checking accuracy of inputs, and performing initial analytical work.Support the month-end close process by comparing actual results to budget, identifying key variances, and preparing summary findings for the Manager.Carry out preliminary financial and operational analysis to help the Manager identify risks, opportunities, and areas for corrective action.Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis based on requests from the Manager, and help ensure smooth communication between Finance and Hotel Operations by supporting the Manager with day-to-day follow-up and information gathering.What will you bring?Business Economics University Degree.2–4 years of professional experience in Big 4 Consulting, Transaction/Assurance Services, or in Financial Controlling/FP&amp;A roles.
