We look forward to getting to know you. &nbsp; &nbsp; full time - limitedYour contribution to the energy transitionAs our&nbsp;Electrical Construction Supervisor will be responsible for onsite supervision of Electrical construction works on solar PV EPC projects in Greece including full responsibility for technical, environmental and safety compliance, quality, schedule, and integration control.&nbsp;Ο επιβλέπων Ηλεκτρολόγος Μηχανικός είναι υπεύθυνος για την επί τόπου επίβλεψη των Ηλεκτρολογικών εργασιών κατασκευής σε φωτοβολταϊκά έργα στην Ελλάδα με βάση τη συμμόρφωση στα τεχνικά, περιβαλλοντικά και πρότυπα ασφάλειας, την ποιότητα, τον προγραμματισμό και συντονισμένο έλεγχο.&nbsp;You can look forward to the following tasks;<ul><li>Reporting to the Construction Manager and the Construction Team Leader, the Construction Supervisor will work with Project Purchasing &amp; Logistics, System Design, Specialist, Consultants, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and the Client to ensure compliant project execution.</li><li>Accomplish construction project/trade results by defining project/trade purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating subcontractors and staff (Quality personnel that reports to him/her); evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; evaluating and implementing change orders via the Construction Manager.</li><li>Responsible for inspection, supervision and reporting on construction activities in conformance with project drawings, specifications, schedules, procedures, quality requirements and safety standards in accordance with company procedures &amp; processes, legislation, standards and industry best practice.</li><li>Responsible for management of supplier and subcontractor construction &amp; commissioning. Implement KPI’s, control and monitor (trade) schedule and quality performance against baselines schedule, raise NCRs through Construction Manager and implement corrective action.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with the QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes and requirements in Greece.</li><li>Ensuring contractual trade schedule and payment milestones are achieved, including preparation and compilation of documentation.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for daily construction reports &amp; records, as well as preparation and review of work procedures, QCP’s and ITP’s.</li><li>Support Logistics team with material distribution on site and incoming good inspections</li><li>Implementation and processing of Lock Out Tag Out Procedures.&nbsp;</li></ul>Your energy is requiredYou impress us with these qualifications:<ul><li>Electrical Engineering background.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years construction supervision experience in electrical infrastructure projects, 2 years utility scale solar PV plants experience.</li><li>Good communication skills, written and spoken.&nbsp;</li><li>A proven track record in successfully completing construction on time, safely and compliant with technical &amp; quality requirements and standards.</li><li>Demonstrable experience of managing Subcontractors to stringent time and quality metrics.</li><li>Conversant with construction management (control and monitoring) tools, MS Office, etc.</li><li>Conversant with construction, labour, environmental and safety requirements and legislation.</li><li>Fluent in English and Greek.&nbsp;</li></ul>&nbsp;You have more to offer? The position is full-time for one year and may be renewable upon agreement of all parties. The successful candidate will directly report to the Academic Dean and have a record of professional experience that demonstrates the ability to undertake the following:<ul><li>Develop a mission that supports the particular goals of the Division and ACT’s broader goals.</li><li>Build strong relationships with the community.</li><li>Represent the interests of the Science &amp; Technology Division to ACT’s administration and outside constituencies.</li><li>Provide a key communication link between the ACT administration and Division faculty.</li><li>Develop partnerships with other universities.</li><li>Promote excellence in teaching, research and service.</li><li>Oversee the departmental assessment process and conduct periodic program reviews.</li><li>Oversee accreditation &amp; validation reviews.</li><li>Drive program development, evaluation and growth.</li><li>Oversee external grants, special programs and development projects.</li><li>Coordinate the division’s curricula with the relevant coordinator(s).</li><li>Assist in hiring new faculty.</li><li>Oversee faculty development and evaluation.</li><li>Assist in new student recruitment.</li><li>Oversee retention of majors.</li><li>Oversee student affairs, including advising and internships.</li><li>Develop and monitor the Division budget.</li></ul>Position Requirements<ul><li>A doctoral Degree in an academic area that relates to the Science and Technology division. Preference will be given to candidates with background in the broad area of computing.</li><li>Demonstrated record of academic and professional achievement in higher education.</li><li>Demonstrated record of successful leadership and administrative experience in academic settings.</li><li>Excellent command of the English language.</li><li>Excellence in oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Interest and experience in developing partnerships with schools in the US and with the community in Greece.</li><li>Demonstrated teaching experience and ability to teach in one of the areas offered by the Science and Technology Division. A minimum of six years of university/college level teaching experience or other relevant work experience is required.
