Our client, a leading international company with about 300 employees around the world and 40+ of them based in Greece, is looking for a&nbsp;Backend Developer&nbsp;to enhance their team in Thessaloniki.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain backend components of the provided apps</li><li>Develop server-side solutions to support frontend and mobile apps</li><li>Handle data from IoT devices, ensuring integrity and performance</li><li>Ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend services</li><li>Engage in agile processes using tools within Microsoft’s ecosystem, such as MS Teams and Azure DevOps, for sprint planning, ticket grooming, and daily stand-ups.</li><li>Contribute to backend solutions and platform enhancements</li><li>Collaborate with tech leads and the local team</li></ul>Candidate profile:<ul><li>4+ years of proven experience in building robust backend systems</li><li>Proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in frameworks like Django or FastAPI</li><li>Strong understanding of relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL</li><li>Knowledge of Git for</li><li>Experience in RESTful APIs design and implementation</li><li>Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP</li><li>Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes</li><li>Skills in data science, including machine learning and data analysis is an asset</li><li>Knowledge of advanced database design principles, including normalization, indexing strategies, and performance optimization</li><li>Fluency both in Greek and English; German language skills would be an advantage</li></ul>Our client offers:<ul><li>Unlimited contract</li><li>Hybrid work environment</li><li>Flexible working arrangements</li><li>Medical Care package</li><li>An international working environment</li><li>Opportunities for personal development and training</li><li>Relocation package for applicants abroad</li></ul>If you are interested, please send your CV to&nbsp;paschalina.mikie@grecruitment.com
