Ερχόμενος στην Energean, θα ενταχθείς στη μοναδική εταιρείας έρευνας και παραγωγής υδρογονανθράκων στην Ελλάδα. Ο Πρίνος, στον Κόλπο της Καβάλας στο Βόρειο Αιγαίο, παράγει υδρογονάνθρακες από το 1981, με ένα εξαιρετικό ιστορικό στην Υγεία, την Ασφάλεια και το Περιβάλλον και σε απόλυτη αρμονία με την τουριστική βιομηχανία και την αλιευτική δραστηριότητα της γειτονικής πόλης της Καβάλας και της νήσου Θάσου.&nbsp;Το κοίτασμα του Πρίνου είναι η βασική δομή στην λεκάνη Πρίνου – Καβάλας και έχει ως τώρα παράξει πάνω από 120 εκατ. βαρέλια ισοδυνάμου πετρελαίου. Η Energean αναπτύσσει τώρα το δορυφορικό κοίτασμα Epsilon (23 εκατ. βαρέλια πετρελαίου βεβαιωμένα 2P αποθέματα), η παραγωγή από το οποίο εκτιμάται ότι θα ξεκινήσει εντός του 2024.&nbsp;Οι παραγόμενοι στον Πρίνο υδρογονάνθρακες περιέχουν έως 60% υδρόθειο. Η μονάδα επεξεργασίας και αποθήκευσης Sigma διαθέτει εγκαταστάσεις που αφαιρούν το τοξικό αυτό αέριο και το μετατρέπουν σε θειάφι.
