SIDENORis looking for aPlant Accounting &amp; Controlling Supervisorto join the team in Thessaloniki.&nbsp;SIDENOR, is looking for a Plant Accounting &amp; Controlling Supervisor for its Plant in Thessaloniki. Sidenor Group is a leading steel producer in Southeastern Europe with 4&nbsp;production units in Greece, Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As the Plant Accounting &amp; Controlling Supervisor you will report directly to the Plant Finance Senior Manager responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting and cost controlling activities in a steel production and processing environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;Your role<ul><li>Supervise daily accounting activities ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and internal guidelines. Support finance &amp; accounting processes and cross-functional activities (P2P, VIM, Customs etc)</li><li>Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for the plant</li><li>Maintain strong internal controls in line with corporate standards and audit requirements</li><li>Lead the plant’s cost accounting processes including standard costing, cost allocation, and perform variance analysis &amp; execute month-end closing analysis</li><li>Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, stock valuation and warehouse book control in SAP.</li><li>Support budgeting and forecasting processes for plant costs and margins</li><li>Collaborate with Operations, Production Planning, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and transparency</li><li>Participate in ad hoc projects, process improvements, and financial scenario analysis</li><li>Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations</li><li>Liaise with Athens HQ Finance Team for reporting, statutory compliance, and internal inquiries</li></ul>&nbsp;Your profile<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field</li><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in plant/industrial finance, cost accounting, or controlling, experience in industrial manufacturing industry will be considered an asset</li><li>Experience in supervising or mentoring teams</li><li>Proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules)</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Excellent communication skills (Greek &amp; English)</li><li>Strong analytical abilities with high attention to detail</li></ul>&nbsp;What we will offer to you:<ul><li>A workplace with a strong focus on values of teamwork, integrity, and ownership</li><li>Dynamic and friendly working environment</li><li>Competitive remuneration and benefits package</li><li>Continuous training and career development opportunities</li><li>Private medical &amp; health insurance plan</li><li>Food vouchers</li></ul><ul><li>Mental health and nutrition support line</li></ul>&nbsp;What you will need to do next:Joining the Sidenor Group family is easy!
