We are looking for a highly motivated Experienced Auditor to join our Audit team in Thessaloniki. In this role, you’ll work closely with dynamic professionals and clients from diverse industries. You’ll be involved in audit engagements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and value delivery through high-quality auditing services.The key responsibilities of this role will include:<ul><li>Executing audit engagements across a broad range of industries and business types</li><li>Performing risk assessments, substantive testing, and internal control evaluations</li><li>Drafting and reviewing financial statements in compliance with Greek GAAP and IFRS</li><li>Liaising directly with clients to ensure transparency, efficiency, and excellent service</li><li>Guiding junior team members through on-the-job coaching and mentoring</li><li>Contributing to audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases</li><li>Participating in the continuous improvement and digital transformation of audit processes</li><li>Ensuring compliance with relevant auditing and ethical standards</li><li>Interacting on a frequent basis with customers</li><li>Delivering excellent client service</li></ul>The key requirements of this role are:<ul><li>A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/Economics or relevant field</li><li>2+ years of experience in Audit</li><li>Ongoing or fulfilled&nbsp;professional audit&nbsp;qualification (ACA/ACCA)</li><li>MSc in relevant field will be considered as an asset</li><li>Ability to work in a team and to tight deadlines&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate in Greek &amp; English and experience in&nbsp;using MS Office</li><li>Fulfilled obligations imposed by legislation on military service</li></ul>To be successful at this role you need the following:&nbsp;<ul><li>Effective communication and rapport building skills&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to develop and deliver high quality services and solutions&nbsp;</li><li>An extremely high work ethic&nbsp;</li><li>Motivation for career progression and development&nbsp;</li></ul>What’s in it for You?At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards!
