Logistics Trainee

Newrest is seeking young professionals and recent graduates to join a structured Graduate Program, based at the company’s headquarters in Athens, located within the airport facilities.The program aims to actively involve participants in the modernization of production, quality, and logistics processes, as well as in the introduction of new technologies, automation, and robotic solutions in production environments.Role PurposeParticipants will be trained in modern operational processes and will actively contribute to their effective implementation. They will support production teams, train colleagues, monitor compliance with procedures, and manage data entry, enabling the adoption of new workflows.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Training on production, quality, and logistics processes</li><li>Monitoring correct implementation of procedures in production areas</li><li>Training and supporting team members</li><li>Data entry and monitoring in the Winrest system</li><li>Participation in automation and robotics-related projects</li><li>Collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve daily operations</li></ul>ProfileRequired Qualifications<ul><li>University degree in:<ul><li>Production / Industrial Engineering or related fields</li><li>Food Safety / Food Science</li><li>Logistics / Supply Chain Management</li></ul></li><li>Other academic backgrounds will also be considered with strong analytical thinking</li><li>Up to 1–3 years of relevant professional experience (preferred but not mandatory)</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Structured training and development program</li><li>Participation in digitalization and automation projects</li><li>Career development opportunities within the Group</li><li>Competitive compensation package</li><li>Partial coverage of transportation expenses</li><li>Daily meal provided at the company’s restaurant</li><li>Modern and dynamic working environment</li></ul>
