ELVALHALCOR - Copper &amp; Alloys Extrusion Division&nbsp;is searching for&nbsp;detail-oriented&nbsp;TECHNICAL BUYER&nbsp;responsible for processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers and&nbsp;evaluating proposals, to join our Supply Chain team in our plant in Oinofyta, Voiotia, GreeceRole DescriptionKey Responsibilities:•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Follow company’s purchasing procedures, guidelines and policy •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure the timely and correct ordering of all materials and services •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Establish good communication &amp; close cooperation with all interfacing departments&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Prepare and issues purchase orders and contracts to the awarded suppliers •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Handle logistics of the ordered materials, aiming at their timely and cost-effective delivery •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Negotiate with suppliers, evaluates their performance, and continuously seeks for alternative procurement sources for cost reduction&nbsp;Requirements:•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;University Degree in the field of Engineering&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Educational background in Supply Chain or Finance (accepted) •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Master’s degree will be considered an asset •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Previous experience of 2-3 years within Procurement is preferred •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Full professional proficiency in English •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Strong computer proficiency, and advanced use of analytical software programs, e.g. Excel, Minitab •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;SAP MM module knowledge will be considered an asset •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Team player&nbsp; •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Strong organizational and time management skills •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;High sense of responsibility with special emphasis on compliance with company’s procedures and code of conduct&nbsp;The Company offers:• &nbsp; &nbsp;Dynamic work environment • &nbsp; &nbsp;Career and Development Plan • &nbsp; &nbsp;Continuous Training • &nbsp; &nbsp;Competitive remuneration package • &nbsp; &nbsp;Additional insurance coverage
