We are currently looking for an EHS Specialist in Xanthi factory to be responsible for the development, continuous improvement and maintenance of all processes, programs and procedures that contribute to occupational safety and the environment to comply with the national laws and JTI EHS requirements. Join us in making a significant impact on our EHS systems!&nbsp;Position: As the EHS Specialist in Xanthi factory, you will&nbsp;<ul><li>Apply Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards. Identify the hazards, assess the risks, and ensure that control measures are implemented to maintain a healthy and safe workplace for employees under the position incumbent’s supervision.</li><li>Ensure that employees receive appropriate health &amp; safety training, and they adopt the required qualifications to perform their duties safely.</li><li>Support the development, continuous improvement, and maintenance of EHS Management Systems for Environment and Occupational Health &amp; Safety with aim to achieve Zero Incidents.</li><li>Support all risk assessments (work-related, workplace-related, tools and equipment-related, chemical goods, etc.) in close collaboration with all business functions and provide information and guidance to eliminate risks and Incidents with clear procedures and processes.</li><li>Report incidents and near misses and support with the investigation process.</li><li>Support the continuous improvement of Waste Management in the Facto</li></ul>&nbsp;Within&nbsp;6 months, you will&nbsp;<ul><li>Support the cascading implementation of the EHS Strategy</li></ul>&nbsp;Requirements&nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a similar field.</li><li>Professional license for Safety Technician will be considered as an asset.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years’ work experience as Safety Engineer / Engineering Compliance Officer.</li><li>Experience with Labor Authorities or Accident Investigation will be considered as an asset.</li><li>Fluency in both Greek and English Languages.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Office.</li></ul>&nbsp;What to expect: Expect growth opportunities, trainings, good compensation package, social security package.
