Theon Sensors&nbsp;is seeking a&nbsp;motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality Department. In this role, you will be responsible for performing inspections and quality checks according to established procedures, ensuring that all products meet company and customer standards. You will also support the team in maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous improvement activities.Key responsibilities:<ul><li>Receipt Inspection to include staging of parts and materials</li><li>In Process Inspections</li><li>Final Inspection</li><li>Assembly Inspection</li><li>Ability to perform basic CMM inspections is an advantage</li><li>Able to perform basic inspection using Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators and basic hand gauges.</li><li>Detailed drawings reading</li><li>Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent use of English language</li><li>Very good knowledge of MS Office</li><li>Previous experience in similar role, will be considered as additional asset</li><li>Visual acuity to perform inspection, read gauging and perform visual inspections</li></ul>&nbsp;

Quality Control Inspector

The Electronics Test Group operates within a multi-disciplined group of Optical, Mechanical, FPGA, Software and Electrical Engineers. The candidate will closely collaborate with experts from all fields to produce testing methodologies and stations to verify system operation and design and production stages. This position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of a high-quality embedded vision system and has an impact on the group and company growth.Responsibilities<ul><li>Design and develop test plans to validate electronic systems against design requirements and specifications.</li><li>Develop test setups and equipment such as measurement and data acquisition systems, custom test hardware and companion software.</li><li>Perform failure root cause analysis, present results, and provide feedback to the design engineers to optimize SW and PCBA production.</li><li>Perform PCBA rework to support testing and failure analysis.</li><li>Automate test procedure, write user guides, and transfer the test systems to the production line.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience as an electronics test (or design) engineer.</li><li>Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronic/Software Engineering.</li><li>Experience developing software for test systems. Comfortable with Scripting, C/C++, and development of GUI applications.</li><li>Familiar with PCB design.</li><li>Ability to use lab equipment like debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.</li><li>Experience with test Jig and fixture design.</li><li>Experience in soldering.</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Familiar with embedded vision systems.</li></ul>

Electronics Test Engineer

The PCB Engineering team operates within a multi-disciplined group of Optical, Mechanical, FPGA, and Software Engineers. The candidate will closely collaborate with experts from all fields to define and produce electronic circuitry for the company's line of products. This position is an excellent opportunity to participate in the definition of new electronics systems and has an impact on the group and company growth.Responsibilities<ul><li>Collaborate with System Engineers, FPGA engineers and other software developers to define system architecture and electronic circuit requirements.</li><li>Design and implement mixed signal and digital PCBs.</li><li>Transfer block diagrams and general requirements to PCB schematics documents and multi-layer PCB layouts.</li><li>Release fabrication, assembly and BOM documents and track PCB manufacturing.</li><li>Design and document the test process for PCBs.</li><li>Perform PCB test and characterization using benchtop electronics equipment.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Degree qualified in electronics/ engineering related subject.</li><li>Experience with PCB design, development, and testing/verification.</li><li>Experience with circuit and PCB simulation using mixed signal and Signal Integrity simulation tools.</li><li>Hand-soldering and PCB rework experience.</li><li>Use of benchtop tools for PCB debug (oscilloscopes, power supplies etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with mixed signal (sensor power supplies, ADC/DAC pipelines).</li><li>Familiarity with digital circuits (high pin-count components, complex/high speed interfaces like DDR, SerDes, control impedance etc.).</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with Altium PCB design environment.</li><li>Experience with Ansys SIwave</li><li>Familiarity with FPGA based systems-on-board.</li></ul>
