DS Smith, a leading international sustainable packaging company, is seeking candidate to fill the position of Quality AnalystJob Summary&nbsp;Purpose of Role &nbsp;<ul><li>To deliver day to day execution of a segment of the Sites Operational activities, &nbsp;reporting to the Cluster Quality Manager. The specific accountabilities will be defined locally, based on the specific site needs, size and required number of employees covering these activities.</li><li>Quality improvement</li><li>Product Safety</li><li>Compliance vs standards &amp; regulations</li><li>Sustainability</li></ul>Key Accountabilities &amp;&nbsp;Main Responsibilities&nbsp;Quality assurance<ul><li>Act as principal point of contact for product/service quality and hygiene issues, for both Customer and internally raised matters · Administer customer complaints system including launching complaints, customer replies and monitoring of general efficiency of system, particularly complaint turnaround times. Brings the voice of the customer for product quality.&nbsp;</li><li>Lead/assist with investigations as required, using structured problem-solving techniques/cross functional teams where appropriate. Act promptly to prevent re-occurring issues through CAPA processes.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide relevant quality/technical data as required, including Quality Dashboard, and to ensure that all relevant noticeboards are maintained with current information.</li><li>Works closely with the site management team.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct routine audits to ensure compliance, identification of non-compliance with appropriate corrective and preventative action. Implementation of opportunities for improvement and best practice.</li><li>Involved in customer visits.</li><li>Responsible for compliance standards and maintaining external certification.&nbsp;</li><li>Manage Sustainability topics like EUDR &amp; ESG</li></ul>Compliance<ul><li>To manage a timetable of checks and audits for the site.&nbsp; Ensure checks and documentation is taking place according to schedule.</li><li>To monitor and maintain validity of site certifications and their subsequent renewals.</li><li>To support SMI for customers in quality related matters</li><li>To administrate the provision and accuracy of production documents (Control sheets).</li><li>To identify problems and improvements with shop floor documentation by identifying non-compliance and working with operators to define improvements.</li><li>To undertake routine administration tasks related to compliant production.</li><li>To highlight non-compliance and work with managers on corrective action.</li></ul>Core Competencies&nbsp;Qualities/Attributes &nbsp;Job Specific Technical Requirements<ul><li>Must have experience of quality systems and root cause analysis.</li><li>Must have good analytical and good communications skills.</li><li>High level of rigour and organisation skills.</li><li>High level of Office Suite</li><li>Specific experience with Sustainability related topics</li><li>Numerate and able to conduct and present data analysis</li></ul>Desirable Qualifications &amp; Experience &nbsp;Evidenced &nbsp;<ul><li>Quality management experience &amp; qualifications (e.g. HACCP, Food Safety, BRC…)</li><li>Must be ISO lead auditor qualified.</li><li>Experience of working in Corrugated manufacturing environment.</li></ul>

Quality Analyst
