It is an opportunity to develop your career in the nautical department, without previous knowledge and experience on passenger ships. Time Charter Freight Analyst

We are looking for a Technical Superintendent to join our Marine &amp; Technical department. In this role, you will ensure that owned ships are managed with the highest quality of standards and their condition is always kept at the top levels, following global quality standards and best marine practices at all times. Company’s activities extend to shipping and bunkering businesses. The main purpose of the role is to be involved in several accounting and controlling activities mainly related legal entities having the abovementioned business objectives and report into the Regional European Controller. The role shall require interaction with various departments in terms of transactions accounting treatment as per IFRS, revenue recognition, expenses classification, PnL finalization, management accounts preparation as well as explanatory commentary reports. Work closely with the shared service centres of Trafigura, provide necessary information for completion of activities as well as support when required and ensure that the activities are carried out appropriately. ROLE OVERVIEW<ul><li>Part of our Galley team on our Ocean vessels, the Chef de Partie independently runs a main section in the Galley, with as little supervision as possible. RIVER - NAUTIC - Tweede Kapitein

Part of our nautical team on our River vessels, the First Officer ensures safe navigation in compliance with all the statutory regulations and makes sure that the guests feel comfortable. Part of our Galley team on our River vessels, the Trainee Cook will be learning more about the position and what it is like to work onboard one of our river ships. Training program can be completed in 2-5 weeks. Upon completion, Viking will consider you for the position for which you were trained.
