We’re looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer who will play a key role in modernizing our applications and advancing our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that manages and evolves our Sovereign Cloud Switzerland platform while contributing to global initiatives.As&nbsp;Azure Cloud Engeineer&nbsp;you will:&nbsp;<ul><li>Lead the migration and modernization of on-premises applications into the Azure cloud, shaping solutions across rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring.</li><li>Design, develop, and test Azure resources that power our modernized applications.</li><li>Enhance and maintain the core cloud platform components—from packaging and testing to release integration.</li><li>Automate deployment of platform and application workloads, enabling faster and more reliable delivery.</li><li>Continuously explore and adopt new tools and practices to improve our cloud ecosystem.</li><li>Share knowledge and contribute to growing the technical capabilities of the team.</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;#OurRequirements&nbsp;<ul><li>A structured problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.</li><li>Degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Certified in Azure Admin Associate (AZ-104) and Azure DevOps Expert (AZ-400) (additional cloud certifications are a plus).</li><li>Solid experience migrating workloads from on-premises to Azure (tools like Azure Migrate, ATAData).</li><li>Hands-on expertise with automation &amp; provisioning (Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, Bash, PowerShell, Python, C#).</li><li>Strong knowledge of Windows &amp; Linux environments; familiarity with infrastructure (databases, Active Directory, DNS, firewalls, networking) is a big plus.</li><li>Experience working with agile development practices.</li><li>Curiosity, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit—always eager to learn and share.</li></ul>&nbsp;#WhatWeOffer&nbsp;At Deloitte, we know that great people make a great organization. Our Client&nbsp;is seeking an&nbsp;Azure Cloud Engineer,&nbsp;responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and automated Azure Cloud solutions by integrating DevOps and security practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).Core ResponsibilitiesA. Cloud Architecture &amp; Infrastructure<ul><li>Deep knowledge of Azure infrastructure setup using both the Azure Portal and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates), including designing and deploying cloud-native, secure, and resilient solutions.</li><li>Capability to conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to evaluate and validate new technologies and tools relevant to Azure DevOps operations, providing actionable recommendations for organizational adoption.</li><li>Familiarity with creating and managing Azure Policies &amp; Blueprints</li></ul>B. DevOps &amp; Automation<ul><li>Advanced expertise in configuring and optimizing Azure DevOps tools, including the setup and management of CI/CD pipelines, repositories, artifacts, and automation of workflows to enhance development productivity.</li><li>Automate deployments and integrate security gates in CI/CD pipelines using tools like OWASP ZAP, Snyk, or Microsoft Security DevOps.</li><li>Proficiency in managing secrets and certificates using Azure Key Vault and integrating secure credential handling into CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Familiarity with design and implement automated security gates in CI/CD pipelines.</li></ul>C. Security &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Expertise in integrating security practices into DevOps workflows, including vulnerability scanning, automated compliance checks, and using tools such as SonarQube to ensure secure and compliant operations.</li><li>Familiarity with container security in AKS (image scanning and runtime protection).</li><li>Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Defender for Cloud, for proactive threat detection and incident response.</li><li>Familiarity with Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and enforce MFA policies for secure identity management.</li></ul>D. Monitoring &amp; Incident Management<ul><li>Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in incident and issue tracking, collaborating with System Engineers to resolve critical issues in Azure-based systems and pipelines.</li></ul>E.
