Software Technical Director (Public Sector)

We are seeking to appoint a Science teacher whose specialism is IB Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS). Teaching and Learning<ul><li>Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work.<ul><li>Plan, prepare and deliver outstanding lessons across all classes to provide students with the opportunity to achieve their potential.</li><li>Ensure that lessons are engaging and stimulating, taking into account the individual needs of the students.</li></ul></li><li>Manage, develop and share resources to enhance teaching.</li><li>Monitor the progress and achievement of the class and identify appropriate intervention strategies for underachieving pupils.</li><li>Utilise effective behaviour management strategies in the classroom to optimise learning.</li><li>Keep records of pupils’ progress and achievement and set appropriate targets.</li><li>Ensure that relevant homework is set, marked and the pupils receive meaningful feedback.&nbsp;</li><li>Actively engage with the appraisal process.</li></ul>2. General Duties<ul><li>Participate in relevant meetings with colleagues and parents</li><li>Carry out the role of a Form Tutor.</li><li>To cover for absent colleagues as required.</li><li>To contribute effectively and regularly to the School’s co-curricular programme.</li></ul>3.
