We design financing and restructuring solutions, manage transactions, negotiations, and documentation—helping clients achieve financial sustainability and long-term value creation.Our Financial Advisory team is experiencing strong growth, resulting in a number of opportunities arising for talented and ambitious individuals looking to develop a career in Financial Advisory services.The key responsibilities of this role will include:<ul><li>Actively participating in financial due diligence projects by conducting in-depth analyses of companies’ financial performance, identifying key value drivers, and assessing potential risks and opportunities to support informed decision-making.</li><li>Developing comprehensive business plans and dynamic financial models to drive strategic decisions and support key client initiatives.</li><li>Supporting corporate finance, M&amp;A, and loan portfolio transactions by preparing detailed financial analyses, transaction materials, and high-quality client presentations and deliverables.</li><li>Contributing to the preparation of fairness opinions and valuation analyses</li><li>Proactively engaging with clients, investors, banks, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze key financial and strategic information supporting transactions and advisory projects.</li><li>Play an active role in special projects, driving initiatives focused on innovation, scalability, and operational excellence.</li><li>Collaborating with colleagues at all levels — from junior team members to senior leadership — on client engagements in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Providing guidance and support to junior team members, offering feedback and helping develop their technical skills.</li></ul><ul><li></li></ul>To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BSc/MSc) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with strong academic achievement.</li><li>2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in audit, consulting, or financial advisory.</li><li>Completion of (or progress toward) a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA).</li><li>Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS, Greek GAAP).</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).</li><li>Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken.</li><li>Proactivity, adaptability, attention to detail, and professionalism in client-facing work.</li></ul><ul><li>Military obligations fulfilled (if applicable).</li></ul><ul><li></li></ul>What’s in it for You?At Grant Thornton Greece, we believe that great work deserves great rewards!
