We are looking for a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer to help us build and maintain a reliable, secure, scalable and efficient real-time platform, by combining software engineering and systems engineering skills. The ideal candidate should ensure that moving fast doesn’t mean sacrificing stability, quality, performance, or maintainability. Additionally, s/he must have the attitude and skills to automate every process as much as possible, so as to satisfy our hungry customers.&nbsp;&nbsp;We have a microservice architecture with over 80 services that collectively handle thousands of requests per second. Our communication methods include both synchronous and event-based approaches. The majority of our codebase is written in Golang. We use REST APIs and gRPC. Our infrastructure is hosted in both AWS and GCP, and we leverage Kubernetes for container orchestration. Our data storage solutions include PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis. Additionally, we are part of the Delivery Hero group, working closely with their Global Services division.&nbsp;We are a team of energetic, motivated and restless tech enthusiasts that take on the challenge of empowering our customers and internal users. Work on designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure systems to ensure they are secure, reliable, and scalable.</li><li>Build tools and automations to streamline processes, move faster without sacrificing quality.</li><li>Set up and manage monitoring tools to track system health, identify anomalies, and take preemptive measures to avoid downtime.&nbsp;</li><li>Work closely with development teams to improve systems efficiency, reliability, observability and security.</li><li>Implement and follow security best practices to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with industry standards.</li><li>Regularly evaluate the production readiness of our services and infrastructure, propose and implement the appropriate changes in collaboration with the development teams.</li><li>Manage and resolve incidents, perform root cause analyses, and work on preventive measures.</li><li>Μaintain clear and detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations, build and deployment processes, and operations practices.</li><li>Work in a high-paced environment, with different Agile teams and stakeholders</li><li>Be part of a small team, involved in the end-to-end delivery process</li></ul>

Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst who will use and enhance our BI and Analytics solutions that turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. If you have a background in data and business analysis, you are analytical and an excellent communicator, then challenge yourself by joining our #BIteam and make an impact!This is a chance to be part of a rapidly growing team in a company that is changing the food delivery landscape, and be able to influence, execute and see the impact of your work at the end of the day.What you’ll do:<ul><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams across the business to understand data needs and come up with creative analytical solutions</li><li>Understand business strategy, provide recommendations and leverage technical skills to create insightful BI solutions that will take team to the next level</li><li>Take ownership of the data processing pipeline, including data import, cleaning and processing of large amounts of data</li><li>Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions &amp; communicate your findings</li><li>Design, develop and deliver data-flows, dashboards and reports.</li><li>Optimize &amp; enhance our BI stack &amp; processes</li></ul> What you need to be successful &nbsp;<ul><li>Bachelor's in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Management Science and Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering)</li><li>At least 2 years of working experience in a similar role</li><li>Good knowledge &amp; expertise in SQL and building ETL pipelines</li><li>Experience using Python and/or BI/Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)</li><li>Familiarity with version control systems (ie Git)</li><li>Ability to write well-documented, reusable code</li><li>Excellent presentation skills in both Greek and English language</li><li>A continuous improvement mindset with high attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li></ul>Awesome if you have:<ul><li>MSc in Data Science/Business Analytics or similar quantitative field will be considered a plus</li><li>Experience using data orchestration &amp; transformation tools (ie Airflow, dbt)</li><li>Experience on cloud computing, especially Google Cloud Platform</li><li>Familiarity with Data Science and Machine Learning Algorithms</li><li>Familiarity with working with APIs</li><li>An interest to learn and apply knowledge in the AI field</li></ul> Who we are efood is part of the Delivery Hero Group, the world’s pioneering local delivery platform, our mission is to deliver an amazing experience—fast, easy, and to your door.
