The American College of Greece is seeking a service-oriented, early career librarian to serve as Part-time Librarian at the Alba Graduate Business School Library. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to provide access and research services to users and to ensure efficient library operations.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Provides circulation and help desk services including but not limited to loans, returns, holds, resolving access issues, etc.</li><li>Provides reference and research support on-site and online</li><li>Processes material and manages the print collections</li><li>Responds to email inquiries</li><li>Monitors the use of the library space</li><li>Undertakes any other duty as necessary to ensure the smooth provision of services</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science</li><li>1 year of professional experience in a library</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Professional experience in an academic library</li><li>Experience in searching academic library research databases</li></ul>Required knowledge/skills:<ul><li>Solid understanding of library functions</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Greek</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively</li><li>Attention to detail</li></ul>Other requirements:<ul><li>Ability to work Tuesday to Saturday</li><li>Flexibility to work in shifts</li></ul>Application Deadline:&nbsp;August 31, 2025Application Instructions:&nbsp;Applicants should complete the online application and include the following materials:<ul><li>A cover letter describing previous related experience.</li><li>A current CV.</li><li>Contact information (name, e-mail address, telephone number) for at least three persons who can provide a professional reference.</li></ul>
